Anagnorisis / Anagnórisis (eng-esp)

Hey everyone!

It's a new year, and this is my first post. Also, it will soon be my one-year anniversary in the community, and reflecting on my time here on Hive, I've realized that this site, this community, is my favorite.

I'm not saying this lightly or just to be nice to you all. I'm saying it because before I sit down to write, I always think of a topic, then I see which community it fits best, and then I write it.

The topic I chose was a summary of my year. But when I was going to do it in the first community I posted in when I started on Hive, I realized it wasn't the right place.

Or maybe it was. What better place than this to write my first year-end summary post? But then I changed my mind. I decided to do it the other way around: first I would choose the community, and then I would write the summary.

And the community I always had in mind was Ladies of Hive.

I've said it many times: I feel at home here. In fact, this is my home. It's like you all, the people I communicate with most easily; and I know you can understand why I write what I write.

In fact, I write about things I've always needed to share, but never had the right place to do it.

This is it.

Whenever I write, it feels like I'm sitting in a café with all of you around the table, drinking coffee or wine, laughing, listening to me.

Notice that up until now I haven't talked about a summary of my year, and I don't think I will, unless I consider as a summary the fact that this has been the community with which I've interacted the most. But that's precisely why I told you: whenever I need to vent about something, this is the right place, and you are my perfect listeners and readers.

I started writing with an idea and then arrived at this realization. Therefore, instead of a year-end summary, I'd like this first post of the year to serve as a thank you to all of you and a commitment to continue collaborating with the community.

Hola, chicas!

Es año nuevo y este es mi primer post. También, dentro de muy poco se va a cumplir un año de permanencia en la comunidad y, analizando mi tiempo aquí en Hive, reconocí que este sitio, esta comunidad es mi preferida.

No lo estoy diciendo como algo vacío o sencillamente para quedar bien con ustedes. Lo digo porque antes de sentarme a escribir, siempre pienso un tema, luego veo a qué comunidad se ajusta más, y entonces lo redacto.
El tema elegido era el de resumen de mi año. Pero cuando iba a hacerlo en la primera comunidad en la que escribí a comenzar en Hive, me dí cuenta que no era el lugar correcto.
O bueno sí, lo era. ¿Qué mejor que ese lugar para hacer mi primer post resumen del año? Pero entonces cambié de opinión. Decidí que lo haría al revés: primero escogería la comunidad y luego redactaría el resumen.
Y la comunidad que siempre tuve en mente era Ladies of Hive.

Varias veces lo he dicho aquí me siento como en casa. De hecho esta es mi casa. Es como ustedes con las que con mayor facilidad me comunico; y sé que pueden entender y comprender la razón del por qué escribo lo que escribo.
De hecho escribo cosas que siempre han tenido la necesidad de contar pero nunca el lugar donde hacerlo.
Es aquí.
Siempre que redacto, me parece que estoy sentada en una cafetería y todas ustedes alrededor de la mesa bebiendo café o tomándose un vino, riéndose, escuchándome.

Fíjense que hasta este momento no ha hablado del resumen de mi año ni creo que lo haga, a no ser que cuente como resumen el hecho de que esta ha sido la comunidad con la que mayor es interactuado pero es precisamente por esto que les conté: cada vez que necesito desahogarme sobre un tema este es el lugar indicado y ustedes son mis oyentes, lectoras perfectas.

Comencé a escribir con una idea y luego llegué a esta anagnórisis. Por tanto, el lugar de un resumen del año, quisiera que este primer post del año sirviera como un agradecimiento a todas ustedes y un compromiso a continuar colaborando con la comunidad.
