It's good to reflect on the passing of the year; the ups and downs and of course, the love you've encountered along the way. It's ALWAYS hard to lose a pet, as they are part of the family! It is good that your rescued kitty has helped you cope with that.

I agree with you, it is always good to be thankful for everything that happens in our path called life, everything happens to teach us lessons, good and bad, it is hard to know that Emilia will not be with us but Freyja has helped us to cope better with the sadness, she brings us joy and reminds us that love always lasts, thank you very much for your nice wishes! merry Christmas!
