Very wise words @albanyescribe! So often, we are focused on specific goal and it doesn't bring the joy we thought it would, just as you explained in your post. Happiness is indeed the road we travel; it will have ups and downs; sad times and happy times. The bad/sad times help prepare us to better enjoy the good/happy times.
