A SURPRISE BRIDAL SHOWER

My co-worker is finally getting married, so we're throwing her a bridal shower before the big day – and it’s a surprise! Of course, one of the days in life that we’ll never forget is the Wedding Day. She's probably concerned about the big day and has been planning it under stress for quite some time. This is the time for us to express our excitement for her, our support for her, and our desire to share her happiness. We wanted to make sure that as friends and colleagues of the bride to be, we incorporate the pre-wedding celebration she'll never forget.

THE PREPARATION

We looked up concepts on the internet to get ideas for the event's decorations, cake, and other must-haves for a bridal shower. The bride-to-be adores the color green, which is used as the color theme for their wedding, and we used it as the main color for our bridal shower as well. So we got the curtain decorations, balloons, "Bride-To-Be" banner, pictures of them both, and other materials for the sweet corner ready. The cake was pre-ordered, and the design was very close to what we wanted. Of course, the cake was green to match the overall theme of the program. The sweet corner is also in keeping with the theme, with green and a gold accent. We prepared cupcakes, chocolate bars, and stick wafers to satisfy our stomachs and sweet tooth. We planned a program sequence to ensure a smooth flow because we only have a limited amount of time for this program.

THE SURPRISE

So, to set the stage for the surprise, our head would schedule a meeting at the specified time. We would all go there first to prepare and decorate the meeting room, and we would make sure she was the last person to enter the room. We had her wear a tiara with a "bride" sign and a sash with a "bride to be" sign as soon as she entered the room. She was shocked because the entire day had been hectic, and she couldn't believe we could fit this event in. She was tearing up, astounded, and we could see the genuine joy she felt at our surprise. We all sang her "Beautiful in White" by Shane Filan after she calmed down a little. After the song, we let her watch a slide show of pictures of her and his future husband, with soothing background music, reminiscing on their stage as boyfriend-girlfriend. The game portion of the program follows, and I was assigned to it, so I created a Power Point Presentation with wedding songs in English directly translated by Google to Tagalog, and they would guess the title of the song. Of course, there is a prize for the winner; we have butter scotch for each person who correctly guesses the song's title.

Question and Answer Portion

Following the game, all guests will ask the bride-to-be the questions we wanted her to answer before the wedding. There are questions such as, "How many children do you want?" and "How did you two meet?" ", "How do you know he's the one?" ", as well as "Describe your first date." After each question is answered, the guest will deliver his or her message to the bride-to-be and pose for a photo. Following that, the bride-to-be delivers her messages to all of us and spoke with us about the wedding preparations.
