Good heavens, it's like I blinked and my knitting ran away with me! Project number 2: which is my oogilieboo for @zakludick has come along so nicely and neatly!
I came up with the name "oogilieboos" in my last post ❤️ 🧶 🧵Knot Another Knitting Tutorial -Part 7 - Oogieliboos❤️ 🧶 🧵 because whatever I'm knitting doesn't really fit into any explainable category.
My first project (which is now @aimeludick 's oogilieboo that she practically lives in) was a huge learning curve for me. I had to learn, basically from scratch, because it's been decades since I picked up the needles.
After lots of swearing and watching youtube tutorials, I did finish it though and was exceptionally proud.
What was surprising was the feeling I had when I didn't have anything to knit! Didn't take me long to hurry back to the wool shop! Two days in fact!
So, as you can see, I am already halfway there! last night I tied the knot onto the second ball of wool and I'm sure Zak will have his oogilieboo before we know it!
Next oogilieboos are for @merenludick and @matthew-williams <3
You are definitely keeping the people you love warm! Those ooglieboos (sp?) are great!

I am finding so much joy in it. It really fills my heart <3
I learned how to crochet long before I learned how to knit and probably for that reason crocheting was always my favorite. When my kids were small I made many scarves and hats for them so I understand the joy!
That's quite a craft! I just used crochet needles to do DIY stuff around the house. I've never crocheted a thing in my life 😋
awww that's so lovely! I'd love to see photos <3 I tried knitting something for @matthew-williams when I was pregnant but I got so frustrated with myself. I was not focused so I was constantly dropping stitches and the needles I was using were far too narrow and this led to way too much tension, so I actually bent the needles! That was the last tie I tried knitting! This time I got big fat needles with lovely bulky wool so I'd find it easier and more enjoyable <3
Due to MS struggles I am no longer able to do needwork and I really miss it.
Wow!!!
This is amazing work from you friend, you got a cool skill in using the needle.
You ok what amazes me the most?
It's the fact that you've made everyone in your home look colorful including your lovely husband.
Enjoy your day friend, I'm always glad to see you happy.
I am trying to pick a colour for everyone that will make them the most happy <3 The scarf making is a language of love for me <3
Ohoo, seems like lot of people enjoyed the finish product of your knitted project. And I bet you are more motivated because of that ┏(^0^)┛
Absolutely! And the wool I am using is soooo soft! Most of the time, wool irritates my sensitive skin, but this stuff is great :)
You found the right wool for you \(^o^)/. And you an make a lot more with it, different design and with technique ┏(^0^)┛

Took you just two days to go back to the wool shop? That says a lot. I’m glad you still finished though. I mean as a needleworker, I must say I’m proud of you.
