As my 21st birthday is coming this December, I think a lot about my life. I am 20 years old now, but sometimes I feel older not because of how I look, but because of the dreams I had when I was 18. Before, I really thought I would have my own small business already. I believed I would be strong, independent and already building my future. But things did not happen as fast as I hoped. Sometimes it feels like time is running quickly and all my dreams are still catching up. It’s a strange feeling being young but feeling so many emotions inside.
But I learned that feeling older is not bad at all. It can mean I am growing and understanding myself more. It means I know my goals and what I want to do in life. The Ladies of Hive community and the kind gentlemen who support us, reminds me that life is not a race. Everyone grows in their own time. There is no “right age” to reach a dream. When we feel pressure, it only shows that we care about our future and caring is a good thing. Like the quote says,

Sometimes my heart still feels heavy. When I see other people reach their goals early, I ask myself if I am doing enough. I wonder if I should have more achievements. But now I am learning to accept my own time. This part of my life is my training time slow but beautiful, unsure but full of hope. It is the time where I learn, prepare, and discover who I want to be. What makes this journey easier is the Hive community that listens and supports me. The strong women here inspire me and the gentlemen who stand with us show that empowerment belongs to everyone.
So to everyone reading this ladies and supportive gentlemen do you feel older or younger for your age? I believe every person has a story that matters. Your feelings, your lessons and even your struggles can help someone who feels the same. This community is strong because we share, we listen and we care for each other.

Life is a journey that each person takes, at the rate they are to take it. It can be hard to wait, as we are anxious to move ahead, but often, there is a lesson in the waiting we need to learn, so that we are wiser when the time comes. Just when you think you've got it all down, life will throw that curve ball, and the journey will change course yet again.
Take each day as it comes; as you get older, the time will begin to move faster and even faster! Take care and thanks for sharing!

You are correct, no right age to fulfill a dream. I read about the owner of the KFC fast food centre. It seems he launched the KFC at about 60 or 65 years old. I was also delayed for six years after graduating from high school, and that did not stop me from dreaming and aiming high. In fact, it encouraged and pushed me far beyond my imagination. Go, Lady, you will hit all your jackpots at the right time. I wish you the best out there.
