You are the bomb @silversaver888. I love that you carry your Smith & Wesson and always know that you can protect yourself. I was looked at our (Illinois) concealed carry laws and I ran across an interesting fact:
CARRY AT ROADSIDE REST AREAS?
Can you carry a concealed firearm at roadside rest areas in Illinois?
No. You may not carry a concealed handgun at a roadside rest area in Illinois.
[430 Ill. Comp. Stat. § 66/65]
Hmmm, I would think a rest area, at night, for a woman traveling alone especially, could be a dangerous place. I wonder why they would specifically prohibit that?
And if you come to Illinois, I guess you're not supposed to travel with your protection either:
In terms of reciprocity, Illinois does not honor CCW licenses from any other state.
And also, enjoyed your post, and peeking in your bags! This was a fun contest.
I am so used to my cc. It is second nature.
I guess I won't be going to Illinois ... haha 🤣
The contest is fun!
