Dating apps: Preventing the fraud within.

Often times before pulling any stunt, I say to myself; if this goes well, I take all responsibility. If it doesn't, I still am responsible for it. And funnily enough, this statement makes me think and rethink before I soil my hands in any "risky" situation.

It's better safe than sorry. To avoid any heart touching story, I try my best not to be involved in any compromising state initially. I know you might be saying to yourself; this world is full of risk, we just have to live with it.
Of course, living is risky but half of these risks can be calculated for a desired outcome.

Implying this into the number two topic thrown to the table by the @ladiesofhive community which is;

Romance scams are on the rise and anyone can be a target. Scammers create fake profile on dating sites and apps, or contact their target through popular social media sites like instagram and facebook. They strike up a relationship with their victims and build trust, sometimes over months and even years. They eventually ask for money, often pretending to need it for medical bills, travel cost or unexpected emergencies. What will you do to avoid being a victim of dating scams online?

Honestly, I would rather not be involved with a dating app in the first place. The world is fast advancing, fine! But that shouldn't be implied into the things of the heart (related to emotions or feelings).

What I mean is, rather than hooking up and starting a relationship with a stranger over phone texts and calls, why not make real friends and pick up a love relationship from one of these friendships if you well please 🤷

No matter how much of an introvert one might be, I still believe strongly, there is no need for a dating app to find the "perfect" one. We physically connect with millions of people almost on a daily basis, that's enough for the sparks to fly with just anyone you like, if you put your mind to it.

If you know/meet someone physically, there are higher chances of knowing their motives towards you rather than when you meet them virtually. So my means of preventing a scam is not to be involved at all
NO social dating, NO heartbreaks, NO scams. I rest my case 😂.

I will love to read your opinion @ifarmgirl and @madamnaomi. Peace and love ✌❤

I agree that it's easier for us to get to know someone better and can build the trust if we meet them face by face.

It's better safe than sorry.

So true as we need to protest ourselves first :)
