My Stake On Children Taking Responsibility For Their Parents || LOH Contest #148

Hello ladies of Hive I greet you all, it is my pleasure to write again for the second time on this ladies of hive community I came across this lovely question from ladies of hive community contest and I was so excited to participate

Parents pass responsibilities to their children sometimes when you see young people working in a very good place earning very well and they are still grumbling. if you see people like that check the load of responsibilities they are carrying in their family I don't know why some parents believe when their children graduate from college that's all, they're done with the child, so therefore the child can now be responsible for himself the parents, and even siblings

This reminds me of my best friend Bayo, my good friend from college. He's so ambitious he has very good plans for the future immediately after graduation from college. He was so lucky to get a good job that pays him well, where the family now decided to put all the load of responsibility on him. Bayo happened to be the first born of the family and he has five siblings; three of his siblings are in college. The parents left the feeding of the three siblings for him alone and their house rent in school. likewise the parents he's the one paying for their house rent and even have to place them on monthly allowance for their upkeep

All the family responsibilities are on Bayo alone now bayo has his own family wife and two children that cater for their needs plus parents and siblings needs this became too much and it start telling on his wife and children he cannot take care of his family the way he likes because of the budding of the siblings and the parents on him, the parents does not even care they see it as their right

To me it's a bad thing for a parent to put all the family responsibilities on their child just because they sent him or her to school, sending a child to school that does not mean the child have to sacrifice all his life or her life for the parents, when coming out of school, they have goals, they have dream to pursue they have their own life to live after school. they have to build themselves especially when they happen start growing their own family the parents won't allow them to face their family their wife and their children should be first priority to them before any other thing

Parents should not expect payback for children to school, of course it is their responsibility, it is not the responsibility of children to pay them back for sending them to school, the children can always come back when it is convenient for them to show how grateful they are. first for giving them life, for grooming them right from the time they were little till when they became adults so parents should not depend on their children. Even the Bible says a good parent leaves an inheritance for his children's children.

But children too should try their possible best to take care of their parents very well they have done so well by making you who you are and your parent prayer and Goodwill is a greatest supplement for you as a child
