Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. I hope you are doing very well with abundant health and well-being.
I share my participation in the #210 edition of the contest to which we are invited, weekly, by the Ladies of Hive. On this occasion, I am going to answer one of the questions proposed by our friend @elizabethbit for this week:
2️⃣ What is the first time you decorated for the holidays? Tell us the traditional start time in your culture and the first time you decorated and why you chose to start early.
Since we opened the business in August 2022, this year we have been decorating for Halloween for three years, thus adapting to the culture of this country where this holiday is celebrated with a lot of passion, as both children and adults enjoy dressing up and going out on the streets: the children to trick-or-treat and the adults to participate in costume contests in nightclubs.

Comparto mi participación en la edición #210 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, voy a responder una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @elizabethbit para esta semana:
2️⃣ ¿Cuál es la primera vez que decoraste para las fiestas? Cuéntanos la hora de inicio tradicional en tu cultura y la primera vez que decoraste y por qué elegiste comenzar temprano.
Desde que abrimos el negocio en agosto del 2022, este año cumplimos tres años decorándolo para las fiestas de Halloween, adaptándonos, de esta manera, a la cultura de este país donde esta festividad se celebra con mucha pasión, pues tanto los niños como los adultos disfrutan de disfrazarse y salir a la calle: los niños a pedir dulces y los adultos a participar en concursos de disfraces en locales nocturnos.

In Venezuela, Halloween is not as common or as enthusiastically celebrated as it is here, so at first it was a new experience for me. This year, in mid-October, I started decorating with spider webs, spiders and pumpkins that gave a fun touch to the atmosphere of the business.
The decoration was very well received, especially by the children when they went to get candy and sweets, singing the song: I want peace, I want love, I want candy, please.
It was exciting to see how something so simple brightened up the place. Now that Halloween is over, it's time to welcome Christmas with all its charm. I'm so excited to start with the Christmas decorations, which have such a special and cozy feel to us. Little by little I will be decorating not only my business, but also my home, filling every space with lights and details that bring that Christmas warmth.
I am sure that this season will also be very special and we will start celebrating it right away.
En Venezuela, la celebración de Halloween no es tan común ni se vive con tanto entusiasmo como aquí, así que al principio fue una experiencia nueva para mí. Este año, a mediados de octubre, empecé a decorar con telarañas, arañas y calabazas que le dieron un toque divertido al ambiente del negocio.
La decoración tuvo muy buena acogida, sobre todo entre los niños cuando fueron a buscar dulces y caramelos, cantando la canción: Quiero paz, quiero amor, quiero dulces, por favor.
Fue emocionante ver cómo algo tan sencillo alegró el lugar. Ahora que ya pasó Halloween, es momento de darle la bienvenida a la Navidad con todo su encanto. Me entusiasma muchísimo comenzar con los adornos navideños, que para nosotros tienen un sentido tan especial y acogedor. Poco a poco iré decorando no solo el negocio, sino también mi casa, llenando cada espacio de luces y detalles que traigan ese calor navideño.
Estoy segura de que esta temporada también será muy especial y la comenzaremos a celebrar desde ya.

Being a reformed Goth, I tend to passively enjoy Halloween for most of October and the a few other days throughout the year. It's a slow process like wearing more colors than black. !LOL
I even have some Christmas lights up all year.
