Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. I hope you are doing very well with abundant health and well-being, and that this month that is beginning will be one of many successes and blessings.

I share my participation in the #201 edition of the contest to which the Ladies of Hive invite us, weekly. On this occasion, I am going to answer the questions proposed by our friend @elizabethbit for this week:

1️⃣ When you are sick, what home remedy helps you recover faster? Explain how it works.

When I am sick and the ailments are mild, and do not warrant going to the doctor, tea is my ally to counteract the symptoms. I love to drink infusions or homemade teas with twigs from the garden or those that come in bags.

A cup of hot tea with chamomile, lemon, malojillo, oregano, Jamaica, turmeric or ginger is my favorite remedy. These infusions relieve me of many ailments, such as colds, indigestion and migraines, and also help me keep viruses circulating in the environment at bay. Each of these ingredients has properties that make me feel better in a short time.

So, I consume teas and infusions, daily, to strengthen my immune system and keep me healthy.

Comparto mi participación en la edición #201 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, voy a responder las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @elizabethbit para esta semana:

1️⃣ Cuando estás enfermo, ¿qué remedio casero te ayuda a recuperarte más rápido? Explica cómo funciona.

Cuando estoy enferma y los malestares son leves, y no ameritan ir al médico, el té es mi aliado para contrarrestar los síntomas. Soy amante de tomar infusiones o tecitos caseros con ramitas del jardín o de los que vienen en bolsitas.

Una taza de té caliente con manzanilla, limón, malojillo, orégano, Jamaica, cúrcuma o jengibre es mi remedio favorito. Estas infusiones me alivian muchos malestares, como resfriados, indigestiones y migrañas, y además, me ayudan a mantener a raya los virus que circulan en el ambiente. Cada uno de estos ingredientes tiene propiedades que me hacen sentir mejor en poco tiempo.

Así pues, consumo tés e infusiones, a diario, para fortalecer mi sistema inmunológico y mantenerme sana.

2️⃣ Today's world is full of stress, deadlines and too many things to do. What is your main stress reliever that you depend on to get you through?

When stress overwhelms me, my best stress reliever and therapeutic exercise is to do something that I enjoy and allows me to disconnect from the external hustle and bustle, get back to my center and calm my mind and emotions.

Among the activities that I enjoy and relax me the most are crafts. Embroidery and knitting are my refuge of peace and tranquility. Another pleasurable activity that allows me to relax and meditate is coloring mandalas. While coloring, I try to push away intrusive thoughts that rob me of emotional balance and let myself be carried away by what I feel in the present moment.

Another of my best stress relievers is taking care of my plants. The simple act of watering my seedlings, watching them grow and fill with life brings me immense peace. It is a moment when I disconnect from everything and focus only on the beauty of nature and connect with it.

2️⃣ El mundo de hoy está lleno de estrés, plazos y demasiadas cosas por hacer. ¿Cuál es tu principal calmante del estrés del que dependes para salir adelante?

Cuando el estrés me agobia, mi mejor calmante y ejercicio terapéutico es hacer algo que me guste y me permita desconectarme del bullicio externo, volver a mi centro y calmar mi mente y mis emociones.

Entre las actividades que más disfruto y me relajan están las manualidades. Bordar y tejer son mi refugio de paz y tranquilidad. Otra actividad placentera que me permite la relajación y la meditación es colorear mandalas. Mientras, coloreo, trato de alejar los pensamientos intrusivos que me roban el equilibrio emocional y me dejo llevar por lo que siento en el momento presente.

Otro de mis mejores calmantes del estrés es cuidar mis plantas. El simple hecho de regar mis maticas, ver cómo crecen y se llenan de vida me trae una paz inmensa. Es un momento en el que me desconecto de todo y me concentro solo en la belleza de la naturaleza y me conecto con ella.

A mi me gustan mis guarapitos; de santa maria con limón para la gripe, anis estrellado para rl edtlmago, tilo para dormir y cslmar la ansiedsd. Te verde para quitar la ansiedad, oregano para el estomago. Todo lo soluciono con un guaraputo.
