¿Qué es ser mujer? Existen muchas perspectivas sobre ello. Biológicamente, es una persona del sexo femenino (RAE), según filósofos como Kant, las mujeres corresponden "más con lo afectivo e instintivo"; en este sentido, Rousseau no piensa muy distinto, ya que para él "los hombres dependen de las mujeres solo en virtud de sus deseos" mientras que "las mujeres dependen de los hombres tanto en virtud de sus deseos como de sus necesidades".

Pareciera que, según el pensamiento tradicional, la mujer está hecha de sentimiento, fragilidad, misterio, dulzura... ¿es esto cierto?

En psicología sí, en cierta parte. Autores gestálticos nos hablan de Ánima y Animus, que se traducen como energías masculinas y femeninas que predominan en ciertos actos de nuestra vida. No obstante, no corresponden exclusivamente a un sexo o al otro, sino que cada uno tiene en sí mismo partes de ambas energías y ellas afloran en diversas situaciones.

Y se preguntarán "¿Anghy, a qué viene esta introducción?", pues a que la mujer es más que solo una cara bonita. La mujer ha sido un eje transversal en la sociedad desde el principio de los tiempos.

Si revisamos brevemente la historia, tras cada éxito científico, cultural o artístico, tenemos a las madres, esposas o musas de los hombres que han representado estos avances. Y, por no decir más, tras cada autor "anónimo" de nuestras obras favoritas, puede que haya una mujer silenciada.

Para mí, hombres y mujeres somos igual de importantes en la sociedad, solo que la mujer ha sido invisibilizada por mucho tiempo.

However, they do not correspond exclusively to one sex or the other, but each one has parts of both energies within him or herself, and they emerge in different situations.

And you may ask “Anghy, why this introduction?”, because a woman is more than just a pretty face. Women have been a transversal axis in society since the beginning of time.

If we briefly review history, behind every scientific, cultural or artistic success, we have the mothers, wives or muses of the men who have represented these advances. And, to say the least, behind every “anonymous” author of our favorite works, there may be a silenced woman.

For me, men and women are equally important in society, it's just that women have been invisibilized for a long time.
