So…. I arm knitted a chunky yarn blanket. It’s the Yarn Bee Chunky Spiral, 17.5 Oz (120 yard) per skein, and I used a little under 1 and a half skeins. So about 26 ounces of yarn. The blanket is literally longer than I am tall, both it width and in length. I made mistakes at the start (some twisted stitches), and at the end accidentally dropped half an armful of stitches so the bind-off (and preceding row(s)’)tension is a bit uneven. I did manage to recover and fix it, but yeah…. The question remains:
What am I supposed to do with this now?!?
I don’t actually enjoy knit throws and blankets, especially blankets bigger than a king-sized bed with holes larger than my hands and feet. The wool (60% acrylic, 28% polyamide, 12% wool) is also not tightly spun, so it falls apart and frizzes with any force.
Anyone have any advice on how to even store this? I’m thinking… vacuum seal bag?

Thanks!
It's amazing how you did it. I love the colors. I'd probably use it as a decor or something hehe.
Thanks! When I get my own place, I might use it as a frame for my pothos to fall gently down.
That's a brilliant idea. Thank you too :)
I'm curious about the needles you used for this; what size were they? It's a pretty yarn. I am not an avid knitter, but do know how. Mainly, I loose patience, lol! I have never tried anything like you knitted. It's very intriguing! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day! !LADY

I arm knitted it. I used my arms. I have size 50 needles but the yarn split even with fingers.
Thank you for your kind words! Yeah, I’m proud of myself for finishing. Not sure what I’ll use it for, definitely bigger than expected.
Very cool! I've never heard of nor thought of doing that! Thanks for letting me know! Take care.
