Greetings #ladies @ladiesofhive, how are you doing and I will love to welcome you all to my blog.
Christmas is around the corner and it's a season where we show love to people, to our loved ones and also we in return being showned love to, infact it's a season we exchanged gifts and care. I could remember back then when I was a bit younger at home then in the village, during the Christmas festival most especially 25th of December and 1st of January, we would cook different kinds of delicacy and my mom will dish it and send us to give to our neighbors. Then Christmas season was fun and memorable.
So Last week I went for shopping to buy wears, hand bags, shoes and other lovely stuffs that I want to share among my sister in-laws, my sister's and also share some other food stuffs to all these elderly women and widows in the village, since it's been a while I travelled home and it won't be a bad idea to use this goodies to put a smile on their faces and appreciate them and encourage them that all hope it's gone in this season of love.
My sister in-laws and sibling sisters, they all has been so good and loving to me, their kind words and love to be me has been massively. So in return I want to appreciate them in my own little way to let them know that I didn't take their love for granted. As for the elderly women and widows, these women sometimes nobody cares for them, they struggle on their own to survive, to take care of themselves and children. So I want to use these season of love to put a smile on their face and encourage them that they are not left alone and that all hope it's not gone.
So yesterday, I was on my own contemplating on which community on hive will I write this act of love, so ladies of hive came to mind to write it, since the community it's all about women supporting women. So I click on the community, I was shocked when I saw one of the topics for this week's contest on the "if you could give a gift that has great potential to do good for the seaso, what would it be, who would you give and why?, and I was like was the author @elizabetbit reading my mind. Sincerely I didn't know that these would be among this week's topic.
