Hey there my dear readers! It has been a while huh? I've been away for three or maybe four weeks. Who knows? Time is an illusion anyway!
With my summer break ending soon, I'd like to share what I have been up to for the past month or two hehe. There are three main things that I'm constantly trying to maintain and they are... Drumroll🥁🥁🥁 my hobbies, skincare, and working out!
HOBBIES
As most of you guys know, I'm quite invested in my hobbies. But this summer, I mainly focused on two hobbies: playing the guitar, and crocheting.
GUITAR
I loved playing the guitar. Although I was not able to play my pink electric guitar just yet, I really explored my abilities with my old acoustic guitar. I wouldn't say that I learned new skills, but I learned some songs and a few of my favorite songs and that is more than enough for me.
To name them: Anything by Adrianne Lenker

I've come to love and appreciate the guitar so much this specific summer. but funnily enough, I kinda messed up my guitar a few days before school started.
Lemme explain :(
I decided to change the strings on my guitar since they were quite old and were starting to corrode. But I messed up when I chose to replace them with nylon strings. I wanted my playing to sound more folky and stuff, so I gave it a shot. But I bought the wrong kind and now my guitar sounds completely off 😭😭😭
The gear thing at the tuning peg was also messed up, so I think I have to replace that AND the strings.
CROCHET
For the past two months, most of the work I've done mostly consisted of making one thing. And that one thing accidentally had my aunties and female family members in some type of craze, and they are bandanas.
They couldn't get enough of it, one aunt bought 4 from me. And yes, I gave her a discount because I don't really do it for the money you know 🤷♀
Two things, or should I say animals were also made during this summer vacation. I absolutely adore to them. One is an octopus-looking jellyfish and one is a lavender-colored stingray. They exist because of none other than @rainebow0407!
Just look at these little guys!
That's the end of the hobbies I was crazy about this summer. Let's move on to skincare!
SKIN CARE🧼
One thing that you guys may or may not know about me is that I'm quite invested when it comes to skincare. With my genetics, it was pretty much inevitable that I would have acne. Before I turned 17, I actually had little to no acne so I didn't really know what to do.
Having acne gave me a bit of an insecurity, I sometimes think that I'm doing too much or too little. But I know deep in my heart that my skin is just doing its job. With that said, I was and am actively doing my absolute best to take care of my skin with my own budget!
For most people, skin care is a trial and error and I'd say that it is definitely a trial and error. It was quite difficult for me to find the right products for my dry and sensitive skin.
Next up, I'll be talking about something that would knock the socks off my 13-year-old self. She would find it unbelievable! And that is me working out.
WORKING OUT🏋🏽♀️
This one is kinda complicated cause I never thought that I'd be doing this sort of thing. But I decided to do it and continue doing it because of one factor. I decided to stay in this world longer than anticipated.
I know that it sounds kinda depressing but I'm doing things for a future that I thought I'd never have. I'll be staying on this Earth for quite a long time (I hope) and I'm investing in myself. Working out is a good way to do that!
Since I am a homebody 18-year-old "grandma", I decided to just do simple exercises. Warm-ups and abdominal exercises, that's what I'm starting with for now. I would probably move to gradually doing more as time goes by.
I'm starting to take care of myself more and I think that everyone should do the same too. A thing I've noticed with exercising is that my mood improves when I do it. If you are someone close to me, you might know that I'm kind of a moody person. Mood swings, that's what my friends and I call them lol.
Exercising is also a great way to improve self-confidence, doing it with the right people also helps so much. And of course, it helps us gain and maintain a healthy body and mind<3
I still have a lot to improve on, but I will continue to work on my growth with you guys by my side💙
This brings us to the end of this blog my fellow Hivers. I give you all my deepest thanks for reading till the end. Did you enjoy the ride? I hope you guys did. I hope you guys had and or are still having a great good summer!💕
