[EN-TR] Traditional Festival of Ermenek-Ermenek'in Geleneksel Festivali

Hello friends. I haven't been able to post for about a week due to my busy schedule. Today I am back with this post. I would like to talk about what I did during this process and how I spent it. I can say that I left behind a very active weekend. Every year, a traditional culture and art festival is held in the town I live in. This year, September came and this festival took place last weekend. The people of this region patiently wait for this festival. Talks like when the festival starts a month before and what we will do at this festival. This festival, which is eagerly awaited by the people of this region, was held on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3. The excitement of the festival gripped me. I remember attending this festival when I was little. How beautiful it seemed to me because I live in the village. In the following years, I always wanted to go. Sometimes I had the opportunity to go, sometimes I couldn't. I never stay long when I'm gone. Since I lived in the center of Ermenek this year, I knew that everything would be fine. I would see everything in detail.

Çok hareketli bir hafta sonunu geride bıraktığımı söyleyebilirim.
Bulunduğum ilçede her yıl geleneksel olarak kültür ve sanat festivali düzenlenmektedir.
Bu yıl da Eylül ayı geldi ve geçtiğimiz hafta sonu bu festival yaşandı.
Bu yörenin halkı sabırla bu festivali bekler. Bir ay öncesinden başlar festival ne zaman, bu festivalde ne yapacağız gibi konuşmalar.
Bu çevrenin insanlarının merakla bekledikleri bu festival 2 Eylül Cuma ve 3 aylül cumartesi günleri gerçekleştirildi.
Festival heyecanı beni kaplamıştı. Küçüklüğümde bu festivale katıldığımı hatırladım.
Ne kadar güzel gelmişti köyde yaşadığım için bana. Daha sonraki senelerde hep gitmeyi istedim. Bazen gitme fırsatım oldu bazense gidemedim.
Gittiğim de hiç uzun duramıyorum. Bu yıl Ermenek merkezde yaşadığım için her şeyin güzel olacağını da biliyordum. Her şeyin ayrıntısına kadar görecektim.

And that day has come. Preparations were being made for the local festival. The preparations that started the day before were completed. I woke up on the morning of the festival. Afterwards, we started to go to the festival place with my family. Half of Ermenek had almost turned into a market place. Tents have been set up at every point or exhibitions have been put up. So what are these tents and exhibitions in? I want to tell you about them. First of all, there are tents of the municipality at the entrance to the festival area. In one of these tents, one of our local foods, called "batma or sunkik", is made. In other tents, there is a flavor known as tarhana vaccine or bulgurca, which is also a local flavor. We were traveling tents and tents, eating our food and experiencing that atmosphere. Small phyllo dough was rolled out in one corner, while corn was being made on coal in the other corner. As we were leaving the section with hot meals, we were confronted with books introducing our region. I had the opportunity to review the books. It will be very exciting to read these books. Listening to the songs and folk songs sung by people with beautiful voices in the back of the tent where our books were exhibited added a different atmosphere to the day. Each tent had its own unique exhibit. In a tent, pictures of art teachers caught my eye. The pictures of these people with great talent were also quite remarkable.

Ve o gün geldi. Yöresel festival için hazırlıklar yapılıyordu.
Bir gün öncesinden başlayan hazırlıklar tamamlandı. Festival sabahına uyandım. Daha sonra ailemle birlikte festival yerine doğru gitmeye başladık. Ermenek'in yarısı adeta pazar yerine dönmüştü. Her noktasına ya çadırlar kurulmuş ya da sergiler serilmiş. Peki bu çadırlar da sergiler de neler bulunuyor?
Sizlere bunlardan bahsetmek istiyorum.
Öncelikle festival alanına girişte belediyenin çadırları bulunuyor. Bu çadırlardan bir tanesinde yöresel yiyeceklerimizden olan "batırma ya da batırık" adı verilen lezzettimiz yapılıyor.
Diğer çadırlarda yine yöresel bir lezzetimiz olan tarhana aşı yada bulgurca adı ile bilinen bir lezzet bulunuyor. Çadır çadır gezip hem yiyeceklerimizi yiyoruz hem de o atmosferi yaşıyorduk. Bir köşede küçük yufklar açılırken diğer köşede kömür üzerinde mısır yapılıyordu.
Sıcak yemeklerin olduğu bölümden ayrılırken karşımıza yöremizi tanıtan kitaplar karşımıza çıkıyordu. Kitapları inceleme fırsatı buldum. Bu kitapları okumak oldukça heyecanlı olacak.
Kitaplarımızın sergilendiği çadırın arka tarafında güzel sesli insanların saz eşliğinde söyledikleri şarkıları, türküleri dinlemek de güne ayrı bir hava katıyordu. Her çadırın kendine özgü bir sergisi vardı. Bir çadırda ise resim öğretmenlerinin resimleri gözüme çarptı. Büyük bir yeteneğe sahip bu kişilerin resimleri de oldukça dikkat çekici haldeydi.

Only the local people of Ermenek were not there that day. Ermenek hosted many guests from the surrounding provinces and districts. People from outside either came to see the products on display or to shop from the products sold. But there was a huge crowd. Locals and guests visiting the tents then moved to the section where all kinds of products are sold. It was as if people had saved all their work for that day. Some were selling honey, some were selling fresh fruit or vegetables, some were selling shoes, and some were keeping clothes at affordable prices. Each counter was opened with a different product. There was a situation that could meet every need. Some of what I saw surprised me quite a bit. Toys, balloons, prepared for small children; fun playgrounds prepared for older children and much more. It was not just a festival consisting of a market.

Sadece Ermenek'in yerli halkı yoktu o gün orada. Çevre il ve ilçelerden gelen bir çok misafiri de konuk ediyordu Ermenek.

Her tezgah farklı bir ürün açılmıştı. Her türlü ihtiyaca karşılık verebilecek bir durum vardı.
Hatta bazı gördüklerim beni oldukça şaşırttı.
Küçük çoçuklar için hazırlanmış oyuncaklar, balonlar;
büyük çoçuklar için hazırlanmış eğlenceli oyun alanları ve daha neler neler.
Sadece pazardan ibaret bir festival değildi.

Everyone's expectations were for the evening events. Locals and guests waiting for the evening to continue their shopping to pass the time. At dusk, the shopkeepers continued the evening by making their illuminations. Then the evening leg of the festival started. For the events to be held in Ermenek's town square, people were walking towards it and a crowd was forming. The mehter band, which is one of the sine qua non of the festival and which I love to listen to, took the stage. I listened carefully to every moment of them. The mehterans who made their presentations in the form of potpori completed their presentations with applause. Later, a song contest organized by the municipality for this festival was held. Talented people of various ages put on their performances. There were about ten contestants and the first was chosen by the votes of the music teachers as the jury. I was happy that the person I guessed was chosen. The activities did not end at the festival. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger for the big concert. All people were allowed to have fun for free at this concert. The songs sung by famous singers entertained us all.

Herkesin beklentisi akşam olacak etkinliklerdeydi. Akşamın olmasını bekleyen yerliler ve misafirler zamanı geçirmek adına alışverişine devam ediyordu. Akşam karanlığında esnaflar aydınlatmalarını da yaparak akşama devam ettiler.
Daha sonra festivalin akşam ayağı başlamıştı.
Ermenek'in kent meydanında yapılacak olan etkinlikler için insanlar oraya doğru yürüyorlar ve kalabalık oluşuyordu.
Festivalin olmazsa olmalarından biri olan ve benim de dinlemeyi çok sevdiğim mehter takımı sahne aldı. Onların her anını dikkatle dinledim. Potpori şeklinde sunumlarını sergileyen mehteranlar alkışlarla sunumlarını tamamladılar.
Daha sonra belediyenin bu festivale özel düzenlemiş oldukları şarkı yarışması gerçekleştirildi. Birbirinden yetenekli çeşitli yaşlarda ki kişiler performanslarını sergilediler. Yaklaşık on yarışmacı vardı ve müzik öğretmenlerinin juri olarak verdikleri oylarla birinci seçildi.
Tahmin ettiğim kişinin seçilmesi beni mutlu etti.
Etkinlikler bitmiyordu festivalde. Büyük konser için kalabalık giderek artıyordu. Tüm insanların ücretsiz olarak eğlenmeleri sağlandı bu konserde.
Ünlü şarkıcıların seslendirdiği şarkılar hepimizi eğlendirdi.

There were many events at the festival that I did not attend. These include a mountain trekking event, a boat tour, and a cooking contest. I plan to attend these events next year, which I have not had the opportunity to attend. I tried to explain the two fun days with photos. Goodbye, see you again.

Festivalde katılmadığım bir çok etkinlik oldu. Bunlar arasında dağ yürüyüşü etkinliği, tekne turu, yemek yapma yarışması yer alıyor. Fırsat bulup katılmadığım bu etkinliklere gelecek yıl katılmayı planlıyorum.
