Unbelievable, the wait has come to an end ...
Not quite a year ago I learned on the popular platform Steam that the great company VALVE wants to bring a handheld console to the market like the Nintendo Switch, the Steam Deck.

Unglaublich, das warten hat ein Ende ...
Vor nicht ganz einem Jahr habe ich auf der allseits bekannten Plattform Steam erfahren, das die gute Firma VALVE eine Handheldkonsole ähnlich der Nintendo-Switch auf den Markt bringen möchte, dass Steam Deck.
And now it finally happened, I was able to hold my Steam Deck, which I had ordered a long time ago, in my hands
and start playing.
Unfortunately, I had to realize that the gentlemen at Valve have not yet come to throw a decent docking station on the market.
But where there is shadow, there is light, and to my delight I stumbled across the official .STEP data of the Steam Deck, which I find a really fine move by Valve, so I could construct and print my own docking station.
No more said than done, with the help of the .STEP file it was actually no problem.
Und nun ist es endlich soweit gewesen, ich konnte mein seit langem vorbestelltes Steam Deck in händen halten
und darauf los Daddeln.
Nur leider musste ich feststellen, das die Herren bei Valve noch nicht dazu gekommen sind eine anständge Docking Station auf den Markt zu werfen.
Aber wo Schatten ist, das ist auch Licht, und zu meiner freude bin ich über sie ofiziellen .STEP daten des Steam Deck gestolpert, was ich schon wirklich einen feinen zug von Valve finde, so konnte ich meine eigen Docking Station Kontruieren und Drucken.
Gesagt, getan, mit Zuhilfenahme der .STEP Datei war es tatsächlich kein Problem.
Briefly on a few considerations of mine:
- The support surface could be perfectly fitted to the bottom edge of the Steam Deck.
- The recess behind the deck allows air to escape from the console.
- The deck stands comfortably with a 15° tilt to the rear.
- The Steam Deck logo on the back gives the whole thing that certain something.😅
Kurz zu ein paar Überlegungen von mir:
- Die Auflagefläche konnte perfekt auf die Unterkante des Steam Deck angepasst werden.
- Die Einsparung hinter dem Deck lässt die Luft aus der Konsole entweichen.
- Das Deck steht bequem mit einer Neigung von 15° nach hinten.
- Das Steam Deck Logo auf der Rückseite verpasst dem Ganzen das gewisse Etwas.😅
Everything went fine with printing too, no support structure was a problem as I simply made the overhangs printable with a few radii.
Auch beim Druck lief alles bestens, ohne Stützstruktur war kein Problem, da ich die Überhänge einfach mit ein paar Radien druckbar gemacht habe.
As a hub I have chosen this model of the company Dockteck, he has
all the ports you need and also the possibility to load the Steam Deck at the same time.
So, I hope that's enough as a small introduction, I have to continue playing now. 😜

Als Hub habe ich mich für dieses Model der Firma Dockteck entschieden, er hat
alle Anschlüsse die man braucht und außerdem die Möglichkeit das Steam Deck gleichzeitig zu laden.
So, ich hoffe das reicht als kleine Vorstellung, ich muss jetzt weiterspielen. 😜

Felicidades por tu compra, es casi como tener una computadora con todo el abanico de juegos en la palma de tu mano, tenia entendido que no había tenido mucho éxito la consola pero cambiando de tema buen diseño para el apoyo, algo sencillo, lindo y que cumple con la necesidad.
