Vor Aufregung konnten wir die letzten Tage kaum schlafen und jetzt war es endlich so weit.
Die Post ist da!!!
We were a little shopping in our own online store, because we wanted to expand our 3D printer pool.
We finally decided on 2 top models from the company Raise 3D.
To be more detailed for:
A Raise 3D Pro2 with a print area of 305×305×300.
And a Raise 3D-E2 with a print area of
330×240×240 mm, whose setup we particularly liked and would like to show you in a little more detail in this post.
Both printers reach a temperature of 300°C at the hotends, which we need for future projects with special filaments and which also mainly distinguishes them from normal home and hobby printers.
Wir waren ein wenig im eigenen Onlineshop einkaufen, da wir unsere 3D Drucker Flotte erweitern wollten.
Entschieden haben wir uns letztendlich für 2 Top Modelle der Firma Raise 3D.
Um genauer zu sein um:
Einen Raise 3D Pro2 mit einer Druckfläche von 305×305×300.
Und einen Raise 3D-E2 mit einer Druckfläche von 330x240x240 mm, dessen Einrichtung uns besonders gefallen hat und den wir euch in diesem Post etwas genauer zeigen möchten.
Beide Drucker erreichen eine Temperatur von 300°C an den Hotends, die wir für zukünftige Projekte mit speziellen Filamenten benötigen und was sie auch hauptsächlich von normalen Heim- und Hobby-Druckern unterscheidet.

Hier stehen sie nun zusammen mit all ihren Arbeitskollegen, aber noch sind sie nicht bereit, mit der Arbeit loszulegen.

After the first switch-on, we are greeted by the E2 in a friendly manner and asked to remove the transport locks.
We are kindly shown what these are on the 7-inch color touchscreen in the form of a small video.
Nach dem ersten Einschalten werden wir vom E2 freundlich begrüßt und gebeten, die Transportsicherungen zu entfernen.
Welche das sind, wird uns netterweise auf dem 7-Zoll-Farbtouchscreen in Form eines kleinen Videos gezeigt.
The Rais then releases its accessories, which were previously clamped under the print bed.
The accessories are quite lush:
- 1x power cord
- 2x roll of PLA filament (1.00 kg each)
- 2x metal rods for cleaning the hot ends
- 1x tweezers
- 1x set of allen wrenches
- 1x spatula
- 1x gloves
- 1x manual
- 2x "I ♥ Raise 3d" sticker😍
Danach gibt der Raise sein Zubehör frei, dass bisher unter dem Druckbett eingeklemmt war.
Das Zubehör ist ganz üppig:
- 1x Netzkabel
- 2x Rolle PLA Filament (je 1,00 kg)
- 2x Metallstäbe zur Reinigung der Hot-Ends
- 1x Pinzette
- 1x Satz Inbusschlüssel
- 1x Spachtel
- 1x Handschuhe
- 1x Anleitung
- 2x "I ♥ Raise 3d" Aufkleber 😍
Now it goes on with the introduction of the filaments, since we have a dual extruder printer must of course perform all the following work 2 times.
A nice quality feature is the beautiful straight filament flow from the Nozzle.
Many of you know the phenomenon when the filament comes out of the Nozzle corkscrew-like quality, this is due to microscopic burrs on the Nozzle, which give the filament the twist.
If this twist cannot be observed, it automatically means that the Nozzle has been manufactured very well.
Nun geht es weiter mit dem Einführen der Filamente, da wir einen Dual Extruder Drucker haben, müssen wir natürlich alle nun folgenden Arbeiten 2 Mal ausführen.
Ein schönes Qualitätsmerkmal ist der traumhaft gerade Filamentfluss aus der Nozzle.
Viele von euch kennen bestimmt das Phänomen, wenn sich das Filament korkenzieherartig aus der Nozzle quält, das liegt an mikroskopisch kleinen Graten an der Nozzle, die dem Filament den Drall geben.
Ist dieser Drall nicht zu beobachten, heißt das automatisch, dass die Nozzle sehr gut gefertigt wurde.
Now, after the filament has been inserted, the Raise wants to print a few lines and want to know which of the lines is the last one that has consistently formed small curls.
This is to determine the ideal distance from the print bed.
Nun, nachdem das Filament einführt wurde, möchte der Raise ein paar Linien Drucken und von uns wissen, welche der Linien die Letzte ist, die durchgehend kleine Kringel gebildet hat.
Das Ganze dient dazu, zu ermitteln, welcher der ideale Abstand zum Druckbett ist.
After we have properly set the Z axis, it is now the turn of the X and Y axes of the two extruders to each other.
For this, the Raise again prints a Small Geometry and wants to know the matching lines in X and Y direction.
Nachdem wir die Z-Achse ordnungsgemäß eingestellt haben, sind nun die X und Y Achsen der beiden Extruder zueinander an der Reihe.
Hierzu druckt uns der Raise wieder eine kleine Geometrie und möchte nun die übereinstimmenden Linien in X und Y Richtung wissen.
As a last point in the setup, a small checkerboard is printed, which allows you to check all the orientations once again ...
Als letzten Punkt bei der Einrichtung wird noch ein kleines Schachbrett gedruckt, wodurch man noch mal alle Ausrichtungen kontrollieren kann ...
And we really like the result.
Und das Ergebnis gefällt uns sehr gut.
Last but not least, the printer would like to give us a small gift in the kind of a key ring with the company logo. Of course, we don't say no to that, since it is a nice print-in-place print, whereby the inner ring will be able to rotate.
Zu guter Letzt möchte uns der Drucker noch ein kleines Geschenk in Form eines Schlüsselanhängers mit dem Firmenlogo machen, da sagen wir natürlich nicht nein, handelt es sich doch um einen schönen Print in Place Druck, wobei sich der Innenring drehen können wird.
All in all, setting up a Raise 3D printer is much easier and more convenient than setting up a Prusa or Ender printer.

Alles in Allem gestaltet sich die Einrichtung eines Raise 3D Druckers sogar viel einfacher und angenehmer, als die eines Prusa oder Ender Druckers.

Increíble las maquinas que te llegaron, tienen un area de impresión inmensa me encantaría ver las cosas que vas a hacer así que espero leerte. Hermoso talles ojala contara con tanto espacio.
