As someone who literally lost all furniture in the first floor of my house due to said floods, I say thank you to everyone sending help to my state/province in this time of need. There are several organizations gathering resources and volunteers to help us rebuild.

The "huge water mass" is right now leaving Rio Grande city shipyards and already receded in most places, so it's now the time for reconstruction.

Balances for now:
~170 dead, dozens still missing, over 600K left homeless and almost 3 million people directly affected by the floods in over 450 towns, cities and metropolitan areas.
