When I think about year 2026, I don’t see big big dreams like flying abroad or becoming super rich overnight. I see small things, real things, the kind my parents always talk about when I was growing up. They used to say, “Life is not about noise, it is about direction.” That word direction keeps ringing in my head now.
One thing I want to accomplish in 2026 is to become more disciplined with my life. My parents taught me that talent without discipline is like food without salt, it don’t last. I want to wake up early more often, even when my body is saying sleep more. Not every day will be perfect, I know, but trying itself matters. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I over sleep, but I want to keep pushing small small.
Another goal is learning to manage money better. Growing up, my parents didn’t have much, but they knew how to stretch little money to cover many needs. In 2026, I want to save, even if it’s small amount. My father always say, “Don’t wait till you have plenty before you save, start with what you have.” That lesson hits me now more than before.
I also want to improve myself mentally. Less anger, less comparison, less pressure. My mother always remind me to be content and grateful. She say peace of mind is better than loud success. So in 2026, I want to reduce stress, pray more, think before reacting, and forgive faster. It’s not easy, honestly, but I want to try.
Another thing I hope to accomplish is helping others more. Even if I don’t have much, I can still share advice, time, or simple kindness. My parents showed me that being human is more important than being important.
Lastly, I want to grow in confidence. Not the loud confidence, but the quiet one. Knowing who I am, what I can do, and accepting what I can’t yet do. 2026 is not about perfection for me, it’s about progress. Step by step, mistake by mistake, lesson by lesson. And if I look back at the end of the year and see growth, even small, I will be proud.
