EcoTrain Question of the Week Season 6 #8: Should we have children while so many children in the world are suffering? Eng/Esp

Hello friends of this kind community of @ecotrain, this is my first publication with you, I am interested in the topic, because it is part of my experience, when I got married I asked myself the same question, in fact before getting married I faced my boyfriend and I asked him directly, What if the children come, what do you think, because I wanted to know if for him it was a hindrance or a joy.

The answer was positive for me, he responded with certainty of approval and responsibility, but when we got married we did not have the conditions and we assumed some goals that did not allow us at that time, we put up with it for a while.

After two years something happened that changed our vision and feelings, unfortunately I had a loss, a miscarriage, and then another, at this level now my desire was strongly to have a child, I begged God for a child!

Before continuing, I think that it is a delicate and wide topic but also a very personal one, it is a decision of the couple that must be assumed with responsibility, whether they decide to have them or not.

Another question also arises, because it is the parents who are going to give these children the love, education, care and values that they will need to face the problems, hence the importance of not watering them as seeds thrown on the road, that although they will grow and live, it will complicate the life of them, of their mother or father and probably of the grandparents.

On the other hand, there are global socioeconomic and environmental problems, wars, pandemics and shortages, that are beyond our capacity to solve, however I think that the future, whether it improves or worsens, cannot be limited to humanity, rather the goal would be to improve human quality by sowing values, and strengthen families.

In closing, I tell you with much satisfaction that my prayer was answered and not with one child but with three, my husband and I are very proud that although they grew up in scarcity, when we look at our past we remember the blessings we have had together, and that they are three young people with excellent qualities and morally and spiritually equipped to face difficulties.

Hola amigos de esta amable comunidad de @ecotrain, esta es mi primera publicación con Ustedes, me interesa el tema, por que forma parte de mi experiencia, cuando me casé me hacía la misma pregunta, de hecho antes de casarnos enfrente a mi novio y le pregunté directamente, ¿Y si vienen los niños, que piensas?, esto porque quería saber si para él era una traba o una alegría.

La respuesta fue positiva para mí, respondió con certeza de aprobación,y responsabilidad, ahora bien al casarnos no teníamos las condiciones y asumimos algunas metas que no nos permitían por ese momento, nos aguantamos un tiempo.

A los dos año pasó algo que nos cambió nuestra visión y sentimientos, lamentablemente tuve una perdida, un aborto espontáneo, y luego otro, a este nivel ahora mi deseo fuertemente era de tener un hijo, ¡Yo le rogué a Dios un hijo!

Antes de continuar pienso entonces que es un tema delicado y amplio pero también muy personal, es una decisión de la pareja que se debe asumir con responsabilidad, tanto como si deciden tenerlos, como si no.

También surge otra cuestión, pues son los padres los que van a darle a estos hijos el amor,la educación el cuidado y los valores que van a necesitar para enfrentarse a los problemas, de allí la importancia de no regarlos como semilla tiradas en el camino, que aunque van a crecer y vivir, va a complicarse la vida de ellos, de su madre o padre y probablemente de los abuelos.

Por otro lado se suman los problemas mundiales socioeconómicos, ambientales, las guerras, pandemias y escasez, eso se escapa de nuestra capacidad para resolver, sin embargo pienso que el futuro si mejora o empeora, no se puede limitar a la humanidad, más bien el objetivo sería mejorar la calidad humana sembrando valores,y reforzar a las familias.

Para finalizar, les cuento con mucha satisfacción que mi oración fue respondida y no con un hijo sino con tres, mi esposo y yo estamos muy orgullosos de que aunque crecieron en escasez, cuando vemos nuestro pasado recordamos son las bendiciones que hemos pasado juntos, y que son tres jóvenes con excelentes cualidades y equipados moral y espiritualmente para enfrentarse a las dificultades.
