And we arrive at week 9.7 and the topic that corresponds to us to develop is "What does success look like from a spiritual perspective?"
A recognition to @eco-alex for bringing us every week themes that allow us to leave the best of us.
Towards the end of the 1960s, the hippies, at that time, launched many witty phrases. One of them said:
"Stop the world, I want to get off"...
Truly... Today it also provokes asking for the same thing.
War, Banality, Falsehood...
It is true, there are bad things, but there is also SIMPLICITY and there is also LOVE...
In my very personal opinion, success has a first component: HAPPINESS...
And that is the most difficult ingredient of success because it can take us a lifetime to understand that, to be happy, we just need to want to be happy.
Being happy with yourself, with your height, skin color... Accepting yourself is the first step.
Then we need a direction to go, a goal. Transcend.
For some that goal will lead to material achievement, riches.
For others, success will be provided by academic, intellectual, religious achievements...
But in the meantime we all need to dress well, housing, perhaps a vehicle and a good company, with someone with whom we can move towards achieving our goals.
I place the greatest difficulty in achieving success in narcissistic attitudes.
Sometimes it is as if we understand success as an act of exhibition.
I try to dress well because I enjoy combining colors, also, I like to feel a good texture in the fabric. I like good designs and, of course, if someone gives me a compliment, I enjoy it and appreciate it.
Other times it is a competition to see who has more or better things.
And so life is consumed in an eternal swagger, without really enjoying it, only pretending to overwhelm others...
What we are we manifest in what we do, what we have is always circumstantial.
As if it were a horse race, unfortunately, many go through life chasing success.
Fortunately, I was able to understand in time that the journey, the evolution of life is the most important thing.
For me, contact with nature, sharing with those I have lived with and laughing even though I always have to work hard.
I could have been more ambitious, but I chose to be more generous.
The decisions we make always have a cost and will always give us a result.
How do we assume it? There begins to model our success or our failure.
The most important thing is to live. That's what life is about. We are the ones who complicate it, looking for life to always be a means to something. I don't perceive it that way. We live and before we were born, no one asked beforehand that life be given to them.
But here we are alive, always with others, it is impossible to live alone. What would be the point of a life where there were no other human beings? The second most important thing is to live well with others.
Success is always built with others. Someone always did something for us or for us that facilitated the fulfillment of our objectives.
We need a successful team so that, in addition to obtaining achievements, we experience satisfaction and acquire purpose for our lives.
Because, according to my very personal point of view; by interacting with other human beings we find meaning in our existence.
What we do with our existence will be a choice; very particular and free, of each one of us. But the purpose of our life we are discovering, day by day; in the advance and in the stumble, in the friendly or unpleasant treatment with the other.
The successes, the mistakes, everything contributes and one fine day, clearly, we define the purpose that will drive our efforts.
Some will define it very early in life. Others have taken more time; but, however it may be; the essential thing is to live with passion.
If you live with authentic passion, then I congratulate you:
You are already a winner.
Anything you do will give you satisfaction!!!
