I like how you kept mentioning the TWO sides of every coin, because it is true: while many things are in fact too good to be true, many other things are not. Lots of times it's also very difficult to distinguish between the two, but that's how it is. And yes, cryptos can be used as an example of both sides. Do you remember Bitconnect? When my BTC holdings approached the 1000% gain, (extremely good, yet true) I lost most of it on Bitconnect, which was a scam - a mix of a ponzi scheme and a pyramid scheme looking highly suspicious in the retrospective - and clearly too good to be true. Still I don't regret going into it, because it was my same carefree attitude that got me into BTC in the first place, then into Steem, and then into Hive.

Yes, we learn from our mistakes and with time move on. Regretting is of no use, what is done is done, we just need to move on with cautiousness. Thank you for sharing your thoughts :-)
