"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91: 1 )

Surely, you have ever placed yourself under the shade of a gigantic tree and you have found a freshness and a security so special, that you would not want to leave that shade so as not to tire yourself with the heat that the sun produces.
Being under a shade is so pleasant and so comfortable that we feel satisfied and safe.
There is a shadow in the spiritual realm, which is more relaxing and so protective that it fills you with a lot of security and confidence. That shadow is nothing more than the shadow of God himself, who covers us and protects us.
In the same way, God gives us a secret place in which we find the peace and security that only He can give us. This place is not a physical space but rather a spiritual one where His presence gives us the strength to overcome worries and burdens. When we pray and stand firm in seeking the ways of the Lord, we are living "in the shelter of the highest," that is, making our home their secret place.
When we make God's presence our secret place, that place becomes for us a gigantic shadow that covers us and provides us with much peace and security.
The wonderful shadow of the Lord will protect us from any circumstance of life.
In the difficult moments that may befall us in life, being in the shadow of God guarantees us a shield of protection against the devastating effects of the storm. In this sense, it is necessary to remain under the shadow of the Most High all the time necessary until the storm passes.
Nothing safer and more reliable than dwelling under the shadow of the Almighty.
