Hello, my name is Huang, and this is my first post on the Ecotrain community. Actually, I'm still new to the Hive network, but I feel like I've been here for years, and everything is very smooth.
I was participating in Proofofbrain on a regular basis and then discovered the communities so I will start posting in them as well but I was caught by this question that I want to answer in this post.
What do I need to let go of?
In fact, it is not a material thing at all, but it is moral. I want to give up a very bad habit, which is excessive thinking.
Yes, overthinking causes a lot of trouble for me. If something happens after a minute, then during that minute, I think about a thousand possibilities that might happen, and if this happens, my reaction must be like this.
Throughout the waiting period, I kept thinking about it in a very suspicious way. In fact, I tried to give up this habit and live in peace of myself and leave the ropes on its way, but this did not work at all.
The Solution ?
I read on some sites and some articles about how to let go of this by having some faith because you can't control your future or what will happen. If you don't have a choice, why should you stress yourself out so much? This is what made me stop thinking too much. .
But this was not the radical solution to the problem, because there is a time when everyone compulsorily thinks, except before bed. When I go to sleep, everything I try to avoid thinking about all day gathers on me.
So I found myself back again, but this time in a different way. Throughout the day I walk in my normal life, but at the end of the day I rethink everything again. Some may see that thinking is a positive thing, but not with what I have and not with the amount that I think about.
Focusing on details can drive you crazy, so I try to distract myself by watching movies, playing some games, and trying to stay away from loneliness.
