We have an exciting new initiative and collaboration happening in the ecoTrain community! It's called "What’s News" and is a new way for us to share news that WE think is important, and often totally ignored by the mainstream media. I find it very odd that the dozens of newspapers and television news channels all report much the same news.. it makes me wonder who decides all of this, and how does it come to pass that everyone seems to report the same narrative without even touching on many important events that many of us hold dear. There are so many things happening around the world, both good and bad, that most of us never know about. That is what this new initiative is all about.

This is a call-out to YOU to share any news that you discover and feel is important and post it to the ecoTrain community (details below). Once a week I will create a curation post with all of this interesting news and voilà! We will have our very own decentralised news system to share on so many topics that we think are important!

How It Works

Whilst we do want you to copy and paste whatever news you find, we also want you to write about why you have chosen this piece of news! You can write about why you think it is important, share any fact checking you may have done, and also state your opinion on the news you have curated. It is up to you what and how much you write, please dont just simply copy and paste!

The news can be from any source and can include text, video or audio recordings. Please always provide a link in your post to the sources you have copied from. It is up to you whether you copy the entire article, or copy a part of it or just some pertinent quotes.
