THE DAY I STARTED BELEVING IN MIRACLES!!

I would like to start this post by thanking @ecotrain for another opportunity to share with you all my own experience or thoughts on yet another interesting topic.

Miracles happen all around us everyday, but most times we are usually too engaged with the "big things" that we completely forget or ignore just those tiny things that make our big things worth it, for without them we would be miserable. For instance, did you know that you use 200 bones that have to work together in harmony just to take one step out of bed in the morning? And if any bone out of the 200 is faulty, that is gonna hurt real bad. Here is another relatable instance: have you ever woken up with a sudden tooth ache or sharp headache? We all can attest that these feelings are not funny and have a high tendency of causing us a bad day. But then most times we are all healthy jumping around and forgetting so quickly that it's actually a miracle to be healthy with everything happening around.

I have this particular life experience that resonates with me all the time, because it was so strange, happened so fast and felt so unreal. Sit tight because I am about to share it with you all.

A couple of years ago, when I was between the ages of five and seven, I was very fond of playing with my toys on the balcony of our house, to the extent that any attempt to pull me out from there or distract me always proved void; ya it was that serious haha… However on this particular calm afternoon, just like every other regular day, I was supposed to be there playing as usual, but then I wasn't. Something felt odd and unusual about the balcony. I actually went to my favorite spot in our house, but I wasn't feeling comfortable, so I had to leave. After about an hour, my Mom came to me and said she wanted to take my baby sister to the balcony for play time so she could visit the corner store right in front of our house. On a normal day I wouldn't have objected nor said anything, because having a play partner was always a good idea; but then I bursted out a loud cry. Strange right? This is something I have never done before and to my mum's surprise I told her that she should take us along with her. She was confused because I have never done that before. So she asked me why today? Why do you not wanna play today? My answer was just simple, I said " I don't feel like it". She tried to convince me to just stay at the balcony with my sister where she would be able to keep an eye on us while shopping at the corner store, but then I insisted that she should take me along with my sister. Finally she agreed. The moment we left our gate and stepped out to the street, the balcony where I was supposed to stay with my sister came crashing completely!! The impact was so hard that the debris damaged other buildings it fell on. My mum didn't know how to react because it all felt like it was unreal, yet it was very real and actually happening. For the first time in life at such a young age, I really understood what it means for a miracle to happen, and what it means to be saved from death.

Daily I am grateful for the healthy life I have, the fact I have somewhere to lay, food on my table, happiness and the hope to keep pushing on, regardless of the obstacles I have to scale. I employ you to join me. Let's count our blessings one by one on a daily basis. Because in this blessings are miracles hidden.
