Hello nature lovers these happy!!! This 2025 started our activity in the hand of Community V DAO with the Regen Meeting Cycle ♻️ of @vida.verde 🍃 with the Bio Filtros💧 Workshop.

Last Saturday, January 18, I dictated the BioFiltro💧 Workshop in our space in @vida.verde in this meeting we had an excellent participation of more than 20 people between the local community, students of Agroecology of the Fruto Vivas University and the Scouts of El Hatillo.
V DAO
We started this meeting by introducing the V DAO community who was our ally to make this BioFilter Workshop 100% free for the attendees.
VDAO aims to incubate communities and regenerative solutions. Where technology and nature achieve a perfect balance with humanity.
Based on a broad vision where regenerative living is “high tech, high touch, high nature” ranging from healthy food, clean water sources and renewable energy. Encouraging new generations to adopt a lifestyle committed to regeneration.
What fascinates us the most about V DAO is the clear vision of promoting life changes in the community, as we do in Vida Verde with actions that contribute to the conservation and regeneration of the environment.
BioFilto workshop 💧
More than 80% of the world's population discards water without being treated, a good part of it ends up polluting our rivers, lakes, wetlands and seas.
The Municipality of El Hatillo is in the middle of the mountains in a beautiful cloud forest on the outskirts of the city of Caracas - Venezuela, here it is very common to see rivers polluted by lack of awareness and knowledge about water treatment, so it was very valuable for us that the actors of the local community join us and we did it.
Being a municipality with water distribution problems and without drainage services, it is extremely important to know how we can treat water and reuse it achieving double benefits and thus avoid polluting our rivers and soils.
Starting with the theory, we learned about BioFilters, their possible uses, designs, materials, measurements and the right plants to filter wastewater to be reused in our gardens, fruit trees and crops.

The participation was very good. I am more than sure that they will be the voice of this knowledge and that they will replicate it in their homes as well. The students of agroecology were happy to participate along with the tireless motivation of the Scouts who are always willing to add good deeds, it was a great day where the greatest satisfaction is to know that this knowledge will be put into practice with the construction of other Bio Filters.
