As it happens with any real amount of aspiration or motivation, that life lesson or that beautiful moment is going to wear out, lose sizzle in your gut as you wait for it. So with fervor hold the energy inside, let it build so you can catch the beautiful moment as readily as possible.
If you have attraction to this girl or someone you like you have a feeling of all right, Oh, there they are so beautiful but what if a car were to run them over you know?
If you have feelings for a person, your attraction to them generates energy towards them manifesting possibilities and causes them to come into reality.
You want to drag it out, you want to make a little bit of time for this.
I think it's really really really really really really really really important for you to know clearly what you want.

I learned this first hand a long while ago but it definitely took some time for me to fully understand it (and I am still learning how to properly master it to the best of my interests and needs). I presume you are a very spiritual person and a highly developed one from my perspective, clinging on to my intuition based on what you've just written above.
