The #ecotrain #qotw got me in spirits.. What does spirituality mean to me?
I'm a spirit being, that has a soul and lives in a body and for that I'm spiritual.
Spirituality is an intangible magic expression and connection with the Divine.
It is recognizing that the world is beyond me and the things I see, it transcends deep.
Living with the consciousness of a super power/realm gives some sort of tangibility to life.
Different people express spirituality in different ways, it could be tied to religion or non religious.
Non religious such as yoga, meditation, nature and even art.
For me, my spirituality is attached to religion.
I'd rather refer it to a lifestyle because the term religion sound a bit too complicated.
Personally, I believe in God and His love, Jesus Christ and His grace, the Holy Spirit and a sweet communion with Him.
I gave my life to Christ a couple of years ago and got the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it made a lot of difference in my life.
I felt so much peace and lightness, I suddenly became aware of people around me and became sensitive to them, I learnt to love and give without being taught formally.
I enjoyed times in prayers.. prayer went beyond asking for my needs to basking in His love, a sweet fellowship.
I experienced God in every way.. through songs of praise and worship, through the study of the word, through reading of Christian literature. There was an excitement my soul couldn't explain.
One time in 200L I had an exam to write and the morning to the exam I was to recap a few topics as I had kept them for the morning. I started with praying and achieving a note of victory then began to do my last minute recaps. I searched for a material and didn't see it, I was almost about to panic but remembered I had prayed and if I didn't find it, it could be a sign. I went on to read something else and when I got to the exam Hall, in a particular session I had two options to answer from, one was what I had read extensively and the second was from the material I was looking for.
Of course, I answered the one I was so prepared for. If I had seen that material, I'd have been overwhelmed by too many information that I wouldn't have known anyone to the letter. I aced the exam. I never saw that material till date. This happened in 2015.
I knew that was God intervening, that was something so spiritual, couldn't explain it.
There are different times I feel Him or hear His voice instructing me on what to do and in other stance see His actions as He does things Himself. I may not understand why a thing has to happen till time goes by and I'm thankful everything happened as it did.
There's a supernatural force that controls the world, principalities and powers. And there's a power that supercede all, the Power of God, the creator of Heaven and Earth.
If you search deep within you, you'd find a connection, very intangible yet very tangible to the spiritual.
Life is Spiritual
Life is spiritual,the words we say are same.
Ever wondered why things are happening the way they are and how something you thought of some days back is manifesting in the present?
The spirituality of this life is too astute, I'm sure at some point you've experienced a form of it, whether you believe in it or not.
My friend was sharing two days ago, how she was wondering about ovulation spotting and wished to experience it. She proclaimed it, not meaning it. Hers came the following day with pain and bleeding. She couldn't take it so she reversed her words. She used a pad the night after having her bath and by the time she awoke, not even a single stain or a reddish colored vaginal fluid was seen.
Spoken words are so powerful and that's why one of my resolve is to be conscious of the things I say especially when I'm catching cruise, the forces that govern the world knows no cruise.
Spirituality is me connecting with God through His Holy Spirit.
It could be different things to different people. I choose this path of life and it has sustained me.
There are times I go astray and I see God drawing my attention back to Him, to the right path.
Times when I'm down or just feel an impulse in my spirit and I began to pray in tongues, times when I don't know what really is happening but my spirit man is connected to His maker.
Like I said when I started, I'm a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body.
There are lots of instances but these are what I can share at the moment about spirituality and what it means to me. Hopefully I haven't drifted off the lane 😅

For me, spirituality has been a safe haven during the last 4 years or so during which I've been very challenged by life, had several noteworthy illnesses, and a tremendous straw of bad luck. Things have been transforming for the better (which I am very grateful for), but not yet as great as I wish them to be. It's wiser on my behalf to let time go by and go with the flow as before, striving to be the best version of myself as possible! :)
