Innallaha yabasu lihajihil ummati ala ra'si qulli miatin sanatin mai yujaddidu laha dinaha - (Abu Dawood Sharif - 4293) that is: He gave a new form to the eternal stream, that is, he kept the main foundation of the religion straight, kept the religion free from the filth of falsehood, and presented the religion in a timely manner.
