What a beautiful place and it's great that you had a lovely day off from the rest of the world and be with nature in such a paradise❤
Your question brought me back to years ago when I was choosing between keeping my thriving career in the bustling city overseas versus retiring in the countryside. I went with the latter and I'm still loving my laidback lifestyle here in the mountains. Will certainly say YES this time over hehe😊
It sounds like you have made a good decision. Feels good when one realizes that the made decisions were correct and that happiness is found. Whatever option works for each of us, it is important we find ourselves satisfied with our decisions.
Many years ago, like 15 years ago we fell in love with a mountainous place and dreamed about moving there. One of my students was so surprised, and couldn't understand, how I would not miss teaching and the students ;D
Well, right now when we look at some places and properties, I am having some doubts, maybe better said just questions, would I like to leave behind my piano playing and the lessons? The lessons, probably yes, it would be like having some long, long summer break hahah, which I really like, but performances...? I would definitely miss that part, but it could be combined as it is not every day. So, who knows, maybe I would sacrifice some of my stuff to take a slower pace :))
I am happy for you, that you found your way and also, thank you for sharing my post on Twitter 💚
This is very true. And we don't just decide blindly.
I think your student must know how much you are very passionate about teaching and piano and that you having some doubts about moving means you truly are happy with where you are right now, doing what you love and thriving too.❤️
Cheers to you and thank you lots too :)
Yes, I think he already saw it, but he also didn't want to lose his teacher hahaha
Have a great week @ifarmgirl 💚
