We often ignore the necessity of being mentally sound. We usually do not bother about the mental health even of our dear ones and interact the way our mood permits.
But as a person, and other health issues, mental health requires equal or even more attention as it's intangible from the outer layer, making it hard to trace the symptoms unless you really pay close attention to the person associated with or know the regular behavioral pattern of the affected person. Sometimes can be lethal, mental breakdown drains all the positive energy out of us and often provokes us to do stuff like suicide or seclusion from others.
It was a no-brainer for me to choose the last one as we are all bloggers here thus being empowered that writing stuff can be a way to help them heal on some of the bandages we have
One of my brothers used to say writing is therapeutic and it's true to its core. Whenever you are in distress or in mental shock, gather a piece of paper or sit before your laptop and start writing your emotions. Speak your mind, bleed your emotions out and it will get lighter.
Good luck with your noble initiate!
Thank you for this gem! R-nyn.
More often than not, we downplay the mental health and focus to other stuff such as physical health etc. It is intangible thus cannot be quantified too and we are afraid to accept that theres something wrong.
I love the ending part, bleed your emotions out. I remember those nights where I lashed out in a paper expressing those disappointments in life that I had.
