Happy new year 🎉 I feel so good about the fresh energy that tends to always come with a new year. I hope to be more active here on Hive this year. And isn't it a great start to post something on the first day of the new year 🙂
I haven't been so active creating AI art lately but I resumed this activity this week, inspired by @riverflows, who has been very enthusiastic about it. If you haven't already, check out her stuff, it's really something.
Creating AI art is fun, even though I lost some of my inspiration some time ago because I didn't really get the results I was looking for and I kind of felt I was wasting my time.
But now when I started 'prompting' again I was kind of shocked by how much Midjourney had changed, in just a month or so. I was also testing, just for fun, to use some of my earlier prompts and the results were just SO different. I also discovered the 'remaster' function is gone, that was kind of my favorite. But it seems like the generated images have a completely different style now anyway.
But it's not bad, I guess. Now it's so much easier to generate something interesting way faster. At least that has been my experience. I'm a bit frustrated though that the variations tend to be very similar to the original image. Earlier you could kind of go down a rabbit hole, moving in a completely new direction, just by creating variations.
This is just my experience. Maybe someone else has a different one?
I have mainly been playing around with creating animals. Animals as spiritual guides or having some kind of spiritual qualities.
First out is The Raven.
It seemed like the AI interpreted wisdom as an egg. It more feels like something it protects, rather than offers (the prompt is black raven offering its wisdom).
Here's a different version (not an egg anymore).
This one wasn't what I had in mind at all but I found it interesting, or funny, somehow.
I like the details on the wing in this one, and the framing. I'm not so happy about the flying bird though, unclear if that's a raven as well?
Moving on to The Owl.
The prompt I was using for these: owl sitting inside a hollow tree at night, full moon in background, yellow eyes, wisdom
I had actually been playing around with owls before, the last one of these 4 I created maybe 1-2 months ago, using the same prompt. Such a difference!
Moving on to The Robin. This is a very special bird to me. So connected to my father.
Here I was moving in a different direction. Didn't look for such an expression but it's so interesting what the AI comes up with 🙂 The prompt for this last one is robin bird as a spiritual guide, leading the way.
I'll end this post with The Hummingbird.
It kind of feels like the details are more on the surrounding flowers than on the actual bird though. Not so happy about that.
There's so much you can create. Once you start and you get something you find interesting, it's hard to stop, haha. More AI art coming up 🙂
All of the images are created with Midjourney.
Thanks for reading 🌸
Love and blessings to you all 💚
These are very cool. I sorta liked the raven with the cap/helmet. The robins were very cool but the hummingbirds are stunning!
Thank you for your kind words 🙏🏽 It's so much fun.
Happy new year to you 🌸
Its stunningly beautiful!!
I especially admire the second owl and the humming bird AI artworks.
Thanks for sharing I've grown fond of AI artworks lately.

Thank you, I'll share more 🙂 It's rather fascinating, AI art. Do you create yourself?
Happy new year 🎉
Nooooo, you mentioned the program that you use, I am yet to try it.. But I actually do want to get into it myself! Perhaps this year, once I returned home.
What was the name of that program you used? I slightly forgot😂
You found it! I read your post and left a comment 🙂
Beautiful little birdies! My favorite is the crow one. Good job @mamrita
Thanks, I'll check out your latest AI post now 🙂
Nice thank you!!
Oh my god that really is a huge difference! Wow. I think in the next few months AI will have enough info to take over the world!
I love how it added the egg. Like the egg is possiblity or something.
A beautiful theme to explore! I'ms searching for my next theme currently. As I'm travelling I might be a while!
Love these so much!
Jamie loves the robin too. It reminds him of his late Nan. His father's bird is the sparrow!
Haha, let's hope not.
I love birds. That wasn't that clear in the post I guess. That all the animals are birds. But that was the idea for this theme.
I have a new exciting project. But it'll take some time 🙂
I hope you're enjoying your trip.
xx
I did a bird one on the ferry after I read your post! I'll publish it in a few days xx

@mamrita I have a question. I just discovered your profile and was wondering how do you manage to get so many votes although you have around 200 followers and posting on a community with around 200 members.
