Swords and Paths

One way the truth is referenced is as the way and the path. What path and way? The most popular use of this symbolism for truth is from the character Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is referred to as the truth, life, light, a sword, the way and the path in several allegorical and symbolic ways in the story.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law-- a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”

What truth is symbolized by the path, way, light, life and sword? What truth is being referred to? All truth, the Truth itself? Is there something more specific to decipher and understand about the parables and allegories being made?

It’s interested symbolism to look at. I’ll go into the last one which helps clear up the meaning of others. Truth doesn’t bring peace initially. It’s a sword that is divided from falsity and at war with falsity. Moral truth doesn’t make peace with immorality. Moral truth is divided and in opposition to immorality. If enough people get on the same moral page, then they can live in moral alignment and have peace. A person who doesn’t murder isn’t going to be aligned and live with someone who does murder. There is inherent division and opposition in walking different moral paths and ways of life.

One has to care for truth, and especially moral truth, in order to get that common page with others. You have to bear the weight of the cross of knowledge and understanding moral truths. It divides you from others who don’t recognize the immorality of their ways. You have to bear the cross of caring for truth enough to stay on that path and not simply support the immorality around you.

This becomes a problem for many when it comes to their family and friends. Our identity and personal lives are highly associated with family and friends, and ideas we are influenced with all our lives. We become attached to having them in our lives. Taking a diverging path that aligns more with moral truth is going to create a divergence in relationships, if you care to talk about what you understand. Even living in a different more moral way can be contrast enough to create conflict.

The care for truth, the love for truth, especially moral truth, is going to divide us from our families and friends who don’t want to change their ways as we have. People you know can even come to hate you for the more moral way you choose to live by because it automatically shows them how they are failing to do the same. Just living more morally is automatic contrast and judgment of choosing a better way.

There will be people in your life, in your family, that will continue to align themselves with wrong instead of right, choosing slavery, advocating slavery, and these people are not those who you want to align yourself with if you have made an effort to truly explain what is taking place. If you care more for your personal attachments in your life than you do for truth, then you are not worthy of truth. If you die to your former life and care more for truth, you will find a newer life, resurrected to a higher, realer and truer life. Losing your former life for the life of walking in moral truth will have you walking a new life as a different person.

"Christ consciousness" is here to shake things up and wake people up. It isn't here to placate people. "It's ok, you're ok, you are where you need to be, don't worry about the wrong actions you are doing or condoning, just keep doing them and I won’t make you feel upset about that. I just want you to like me. I just want to keep the peace."

He is explaining that the “Christ” form of consciousness is not here on earth to make everyone pacified, to calm everyone down. It's here to drive a wedge and create conflict between those who are doing wrongs and those who are trying to explain that it is unacceptable for them to continue to do wrongs that they do, and we are not going to tolerate this anymore. We are not going to take this bullshit anymore.

This form of consciousness is coming to turn family members against each other, literally. You often have to keep bringing the truth up in the face of other people, persistently, with will and the force of the speech, bringing it to their attention. Not by tying them down or locking them in a room, but by forcefully speaking the truth out into the world, every single day of your existence, to anyone, whether you think they are ready to hear it or not, because they need to hear it, because they are actively involved in supporting and condoning false religions that cause harm to other individuals. As long as that continues, the overall consciousness on this planet will continue to degrade into slavery and bondage.
