It is indeed sad that we need so much medical and scientific evidence to prove the point that inhibiting air flow with masks is unhealthy in the long-term! No other species has evolved to block their mouths or noses as a defense against disease. Only human stupidity could come up with such an insane idea, when we have such strong body defenses when properly taken care of!
And it is strange that people seem so unconcerned with inhibiting breathing, considering how fundamental to life it is. Those who practice yogic breathing techniques can notice the difference with a mask immediately, maybe others can’t because they aren’t used to being so closely in touch with the breath, and how little differences in breathing can make such a big difference on the body and relaxation in the long run.
Most people die after 40-60 days without food, just 3-4 days without water, and only 4 minutes or so without oxygen. And yet so many are focused on healthy eating and clean drinking water, but so few on breathing , like focusing on the breath and breathing deeper (which among other things lengthens life-span). This I was reminded of by a quick video on how being in the present moment automatically deepens our breathing.
Intuition comes so naturally when we’re living in the now, but overtaken by fear, society has become almost entirely disconnected from our own inner guidance and link to the Truth.
