Our goal needs to be that of the classical philosophers. Truth and virtue need to be our aim. But people confuse their feelings with facts. They justify vice and viciousness with emotional appeals and ignorance.

I can't claim perfection myself, but I strive to tear away the falsehoods I learned in the past and test new knowledge against reason. I hope more people are also willing to similarly challenge what they think they know.
