There are many lies in this interview.
Poland did not cause World War II. It was caused by Germany and Adolf Hitler who was democratically elected by the Germans.
The Germans then built concentration camps on Polish lands which were mainly intended to kill Poles.
Poland did not persecute the Ukrainians. It was the Ukrainians who committed genocide against the Poles: they burned them in barns and pregnant women had their babies ripped out of their wombs and put there cats - these are the memories of the survivors of the genocide in Volhynia.
This is the real story, not the one Putin is telling.

You should watch the interview first @amadek. Putin never said that Poland caused WWII. Neither he said that Poles persecuted Ukrainians. Everything he said has been documented in the archives, and is true. There, in the Russian archives it is written that Ukronazis has murdered Poles, and therefore Red Army liberated Poland, and helped them regain Baltic port Gdansk, formerly known as Danzing.
You really should listen carefully what Putin is talking about and thank USSR for the territories Poland gained after WWII. If you deny it, well, then wait for Germans to come and ask those territories back.
