gm frens! I'm starting to get back into the rhythm when it comes to web3 activities. One of my most important long-term goals is to establish myself as one of the ~300 Hive citizens in @gungunkrishu 's HP circle, folks in the 150,000 to 200,000 HP range:

I've called this initiative "My 8 Jive to 250,000 Hive Power" and I started it in September 2022, so it's been a whole 3 years since I started 🙌
Today, I'm on day 1089 of my journey, 40.77% of the way to the finish line.
I'm not exactly on target at the moment, I'm -20.35% from my target, but that's ok! I still have around 6,266 HIVE that I need to transfer over from my old @alex-rourke account in the coming weeks. Also, let's be honest, with Hive priced around $0.20, who wouldn't want to take the opportunity to pick up some cheap hive on the open market and close the gap?
Why is it so important for me to join the ranks of the middle-class? Well, because I believe it is absolutely necessary to have a base of committed Hive citizens who together have more voting power than any single account. Should there be a whale or a a couple voting in a direction that is not represented by the community, the orca army can sound the horns and use its HP to bring balance back to the ecosystem.

Thank you! I'm a bit off track from my goal at the moment, but should be able to close the gap a bit before the end of 2025. In any case, my goal is to be one of the medium-sized, long-term citizens who is using his stake to vote for everything that goes on on-chain :)
I should get to 150k this year. We need more big accounts to spread the power. We have almost 100 with 200k+ and almost 200 with 100k+. I hope to see those numbers improve.

Yes! Thank you so much for saying this. I sometimes feel like people think I'm speaking nonsense. It's absolutely crucial to have a healthy base of accounts with an average of 100,000 HP. 300 is enough, 1000 is ideal. Enough to outvote any single whale for governance and DHF proposals.
