I have been in the process of converting my HBD to Hive since June. At today's Hive Power Up Day I just missed the Orca status. With 99601504 shares, I fell just short of the required 100 million shares.
Hallo Leute, seit Juni bin ich dabei, meine HBD in Hive zu konvertieren. Beim heutigen Hive Power Up Day bin ich knapp am Status Orca vorbeigeschrammt. Mit 99601504 shares bin ich knapp unter den nötigen 100 Millionen shares geblieben.

Bin schon sehr gespannt auf die Performance von Hive beim nächsten Bitcoin Bullrun.

Ich erhoffe mir bei hive momentan sehr viel. Gerade die Spiele scheinen ein Magnet für neue User zu werden. Allerdings vom Genesis League bin ich derzeit sehr enttäuscht.
Was ich zur Zeit auch sehr spannend finde: Die SEC hat doch jetzt Coibnbase ermahnt, jeden Handel außer Bitcoin einzustellen, weil alles außer Bitcoin Securities sind. Das sehe ich prinzipiell auch so, mit einer Außnahme: HIVE. Hier steht keine Firma, Foundation oder Einzelperson hinter dem Projekt. Wenn HIVE als Rohstoff wie Bitcoin eingestuft wird, könnte das spannend werden für Hive.
Ja da hat die SEC und du meiner Meinung nach recht.
Hätte es den fork hive nicht gegeben, dann hätten wir die selbe Problematik wie mit Steemit.inc
Bei hive bin ich mir nicht ganz so sicher wie @blocktrades in hive involviert ist. Blocktrades stellt mit seinem Stake die top20 witness.
Im Grunde ist es dann Auslegungssache.

If I may ask, does it take so long to convert HBD to Hive?
I'm shocked that you said since June
No, it does not take this long. To get your HBD from savings, it takes only three days. And to convert liquid HBD to Hive at the market (TribalDex / Hive Engine) only takes a few seconds. But I do not convert all of my HBD at once. I only convert a part of it each Power Up Day.
