Another year on HIVE has passed, and it´s time to do the accounting regarding #MyHiveGoals... Was it a successful year? Did I reach my goals, and how hard was it?

To begin, I was much less active this year than in previous ones, especially in the second half... I wouldn´t say that the HIVE price had something to do with it, as I was in a similar spot before, but rather the general burnout and some reflection on the Hive community... It looks like I have absorbed more negativity this year than usual... Somehow, I have a feeling we are rolling in the mud for a quiet time as we didn´t learn the lesson... If you are doing the same thing over and over again, you can´t expect to see a different result...
Despite the negative vibes, I was still pushing forward, maybe with less enthusiasm, but the numbers did go up! So, let's check them out...

The big yellow-ish bar on the chart is the 1K power-up I did at the last #HivePUD, the rest is mostly my curation rewards, as I sucked with content creation recently... I'm not sure that will change soon, but I do have ideas, material to share, some nice photos, but I lack action! I could blame holidays and vacations for it, but that would be unfair... It's just me being lazy...
Btw, curation rewards went down almost 25% after the latest hardfork, so my earnings will not go up as fast as they went in the last few months... If I want to see the chart going up faster, I will have to create more content, or buy some HIVE directly from the markets, or figure out new ways to accumulate it... Speaking of that, I have set up my 3Speak encoding node, which is collecting small beneficiary rewards from people using it... It's peanuts at the moment, as there aren't too many people creating video content at the moment. Hopefully, with 3Speak being much stable than before, that could change...
Let's begin with my 2025 HivePower goal! In my last report from the beginning of November, I was "short" for almost 2K to my yearly goal, and today, I'm almost 2K OVER my yearly goal of 125K HivePower!!! What happened? To be honest, I have no idea... lol... I suppose that's the magic of the bear market, of the low HIVE price! You get similar upvotes in dollar value like before, but they are worth much more in HIVE value!
Also, I did power up some HIVE every single day, but those were small amounts... And, of course, already mentioned HIVE curation rewards! They had the biggest impact of this growth... 783HP in the last 30 days, which gets to around 1.5K for the last 2 months!
Regarding my staked HBD goal, I reached it in November, which I already shared in the last report... I had an idea to continue growing it, but instead of doing that, I began to nibble and buy some cheap HIVE...
The third goal that meant a lot to me was the Hive Meetups goal! At the beginning of the year, I thought that 5 IRL HIVE meetups would be easy to reach, but it wasn't like that at all! Bad crypto market conditions, less money in the pocket, less travelling, and hanging out with Hivians... In early November, this number was only 2, and I needed 3 more meetups to reach this goal! It sounded impossible, but with a bit of effort, it was manageable to do it!
The Krakow meetup was already scheduled, but before going there, I had a mini-meetup in Prague with my dear friends, @godfish and @honeydue! I shared the post about that meetup with you in mid-November...
Then the Krakow meetup happened, which was my 4th official meetup this year! It was awesome to visit The Kingdom again and to hang out with some dear Hive friends again... What I wasn't aware of until the last day of that meetup was that I would arrange an additional meetup at my place very soon after Krakow!
In Krakow, my friend @deepresearch told us that he will go on a long trip to the Canary Islands in this colorful van, and as his route was going close to my place, I invited him to stay at least one night at our home! As you can see by this photo, that did happen and he "saved' my Hive Meetups goal for this year! Mission accomplished! 5 meetups in 1 year!!!
Unfortunately, I couldn't get them all... One of my "flexible goals" stayed unreached, and it is the number of Rising Star cards in the game... When the game dynamics changed, I had changed my approach too, so this wasn't a surprise at all, but rather a "calculated miss." 😃
The other gaming goal was the GolemOverlord rank, which I reached a few months ago... Despite that, I continued pushing this one and got to the rank 292, while the goal was to reach 350! Looking at numbers today looks like this was an easy job, but I had a lot of doubts about this as it depended a lot on other players and how they are ranking... Luckily, I have picked the right strategy that helped me to "overdo" this goal!
All in all, I'm happy with #MyHiveGoals for 2025! When I look back, I can't say that any of them was easy to accomplish... Could I do better? Of course, I could... If I had a bit more consistency and perseverance as I had in the past, these numbers would be much better... I know that some of my Hive friends who were more dedicated than I did an awesome job this year!

The point that you having have 5 Hive goals in itself is commendable. I had 3 overall. I mean hive, personal health and wealth. And there I fulfilled 1. Reaching 5k this year.
But seeing this post gave me an idea, to increase the HP by sa 1-2k and reaping the curation rewards. That would reduce the stress on me as a writer. I am planning on my Hive growth in this same manner. The goal is to put out at least 200 posts next year. It's 4 posts per week. I think I can do that. 🤣
But only time will tell.
As my "gaming goals" aren't really goals, I had 3... my meetup goal is one of those that I would put in the "health" category as it keeps me sane of not going mad by crypto... lol... Having interactions with others IRL gives a special touch... That's something that other blockchains don't have!
That sounds like a good plan, but be aware not to get caught in the trap! I had similar views, and recently, I'm barely posting on HIVE, which wasn't the main plan... I wanted to reduce it, but not this much...
You can do it 100%! 3-4 posts per week is a sweet spot which is manageable... In the days between, you do comments and replies, and you will grow fasssst!

hmm #myhivegoals .. i wanted to visit a hive meeting in Aachen , ended up in the hospital instead , i wanted to become a dolphin managed to do that , i finally started a witness so far so good, next year being an orca would be a little to much whisfull thinking , getting the witness in the top 50 would be nice , setting up other nodes hive engine and 3speak maybe depends on the hardware requirements .
and off course keep taking lot's of photographs and post them . and hopefully less hospital visits in 2026 . Maybe hive meeting in spain , still not sure about that .
I read some HIVE posts where people were doing a 2025 recap, and it looks like we had a big black cloud over us, and it wasn't the crypto bear market, but rather things similar to what you share...
Bad streak can't last forever, I believe we will have a much better 2026! Hopefully, at least a couple of IRL Hive meetups to hang out! 🍻
I admire how you're so sincere in the second paragraph.. Some days we are just being lazy haha. But I think it's a very good year for you. Cheers to reaching some of your goals and hopefully next year will be more productive!

Wait, you are thinking about tips for the Rising Star game, or...?
If it's the game, it depends on your approach... I'm playing it more to support the game, not too much for the "money"... But who knows what can happen with any of these crypto games/apps...
As you progress through the game, the gameplay changes... For example, my main focus last month was to lower my EGO by running Basic Singing Lessons... If you are just starting, you will have EGO at 0, and this isn't an issue at all...
During the day, I'm running all 5-15 min missions until the first drop in rewards (usually shows in RED), and then I move to longer missions...
Yes, you understood everything correctly. It’s just that when I came back, it felt like the cards had become more expensive in STARBITS. On the other hand, they probably got cheaper relative to the dollar. Before, I could buy several unique cards a day using the SB I earned in the game. Now I’m looking for alternatives… Plus, STARPRO is steadily going up, which is most likely unstoppable since it’s so essential to the game.)
And yes, the 5–15 minute missions still work the best! 🚀🎶

I suppose it's normal to see the game getting harder as more people are playing it... Maybe it was "too easy" in the past? In any case, I don't stress about it... Doing things at my pace, with no hurry...
It's incredible how your goals went this year. I didn't think you would get the 5 meetups due to the bear market, but you managed to get it down. It's too bad about Rising Star, but they had to make the changes. There are no more bonus packs, and the price is higher too. It's not something any of us expected.
It's crazy how many people just leave the platform during the bear, and imagine what it looks like IRL! I was lucky with that goal, but even if I didn't reach it, I know I gave my best to get there!
I didn't buy any packs for some time as I moved my focus to SKILL, doing lessons and lowering EGO, so I was surprised when I saw that the price doubled!
On the other side, the STARBITS chart finally stopped bleeding (at least for now) and moved a bit up...
I never set any goals for myself now as it's just too much pressure, can't take it nowadays 😕
But I'm always happy to read how others have achieved theirs.
As to accumulating HP in 2026? Of course, otherwise why are we here!!
Pushing myself to meet other Hivians at least 5 times in a year was a sweet pressure... 😃 Goals don't have to be financially driven...

I don't know what next year will bring, but I'm not going to set any goals for myself. I'll try to post as I do now and actively participate in various matters. How much that will actually be worth, I don't know.
Hehhe... Nobody knows how much it will be worth, but some goals can be cool... That's why I added the "Hive meetups" goal, and it was my favorite one... 😃 Unfortunately, I missed the HF and Aachen meetups, but the Universe helped out with some other hangouts... 😃

Really impressive, man! Especially the staked HBD one given how the market has been and the meetups goal. I completed another one too, but the staked HBD goal is far from completion and haven't even tried.

I moved some funds from outside to get that HBD goal done, but without doing that, I would probably fail... It wasn't a year for that goal, that's for sure... Maybe the beginning of the year, but after that, nope...
I'm still waiting for that one price drop to ape into some tokens, but we will see if we will get it... Not sure I really want it... lool... Kind of mixed feelings... If we drop a few cents more, HBD will be on very shaky legs... I know we have measures to cope with it, but I don't want to see an additional 20-30% HIVE inflation...
