Hello Hivers..
Today I will continue sharing about how do we improve our mental health. Why I keep on sharing about mental health in my blog?

Because it is something that I have experienced. Before, I didn't take care of my mental health enough. I didn't know how important is. I only focused on my physical health. Until I experienced the mental illness and understand how difficult the recovery is. That's why, I want to share about this so there will be more people become aware about mental health and they don't need to suffer like me.

If you want to join me to spread mental health awareness, you can write and share about your experience too. I would like to read and share your story. Or you can please share my blog to people you know.. :)


You know what?
Mental health affects the way people think, feel and act.
And taking care of our mental health is just as important as having a healthy body.
Let us try these tips to keep our balance, or re-balance ourself.

Here are the tips to improve our mental Health :


1. Give yourself

Sometimes we only focus on giving to other people.
But it's important also to give ourselves some gift or some good things to appreciate ourselves.

For example: at the weekend after I through a hard and busy week on working,
I will give some appreciation to myself.
Start from a words. I will say good job nike, you can survive and did some good works this week.

And then as the gift I will buy myself a delicious food or a special thing that I want.
I always feel happy whenever I do that to myself. I feel so special. Try to do this thing also. 😊

2. Learn how to deal with stress

Like it or not, stress is a part of life.
As a person who easily get overthinking I often feel stress. I am a thinker so I always thinking even just for a small thing. Sometimes it's difficult to control my mind and not feel stress.

Then I try to practice these good coping skills:

  • Try One-Minute Stress Strategies*
    (try to close my eyes, take a deep breath and relax).*
  • Do exercise
    (take a walk, running, swimming or others depends on your favorite. For me, when I run I feel really well physicaly and mentaly).
  • Play with your pet
    ( me, I like to watch my fish when I feel stress. It helps me to feel calm).
  • or try journal writing as a stress reducer
    (I often do this also. Writing helps me to understand what I feel more. Writing can help me to focus and less overthinking. Sometimes I talked to God while I am journaling, and it helps me to reduce my stress).
  • you can find your own way to reduce your stress. It can be different for every person. You can try to watch a video or movie, listen to music or singing.
  • Also, remember to smile and see the humor in life.
    Research shows that laughter can boost your immune system, ease pain, relax your body and reduce stress.


3. Quiet Our mind

Try meditating, Mindfulness and/or prayer. Relaxation exercises and prayer can improve our state of mind and outlook on life. In fact, research shows that meditation may help you feel calm and enhance the effects of therapy.
So it's good to have a quite time in our everyday life.
