Diablo Immortal - How to upgrade items / armor / equipment and transfer upgrades

Hey all, I have resisted upgrading armor all the way until level 28, with my second character (wizard) named Kongming2. In case you didn't know Kong Ming is the most famous military strategist in Chinese history, so I named my wizard character after him.

In this video I will show how to upgrade armor, and then transfer the upgrade from one armor item to another. You can see that I have a lot of scrap materials - these have all come from salvaging previous random armor that I picked up.

After upgrading the armor at Charsi the blacksmith, I then show you how to transfer the upgrade to another item. In my opinion this is the most useful feature that is different to other games such as Elden Ring, where after you had spent items to upgrade an item, the upgrade is only for that item, so if you don't equip that item your upgrade materials are wasted. Here you're effectively upgrading the armor slot and not the armor itself, because the upgrade can be transferred to any rare or above armor you equip.
