COMPREHENSION;HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Once upon the time, in a far-away village there a man called Felix, he was very rich and he had many servant one of whom was David.
David was Felix servants and a very honest one. He was very much loved by Felix, but was despised by the other servant because he refuse to be a partaker of evil act of stealing. Felix harvested a lot of produce and sold it. The money from the sales he kept some in the safe so as to use it for something important. But unfortunately, one of his servant saw him hiding the money and conspired with the other servant to steal the money.

They however, didn’t inform David because they did not trust him. The other servant of Felix set aside a day for their proposed operation.
When the day came, Felix left as usual to attend to his various businesses and that was went the servant struck. They went into Felix room, tied up his wife and his children and they started ransacking the whole house. Unknown to them. David overheard them planning and he went ahead of them to hid the money in his room.
He also telephoned the police and informed them of the incident. The other servant continued their search for money unaware of the danger lurking behind them. After their fruitless search, they started blaming and accusing one another of taking the money.
This letter degenerated to a heated argument and as a result of this, they didn’t hear the blaring sirens of police cars and the running feet of police men into the compound. All this while, David hid inside his room with the money and reported himself to the police.

They police surrounded the building and arrested the other servants on they charge of stealing and kidnapping.
When Felix came back and was told of the story he gave David a large sum of money.
