Greetings to all readers of this great platform, in the present opportunity I want to share with you, information regarding the immunization process against COVID-19 in Venezuela, mainly with the 2 months that lasted the flexibilization, where all areas of the country were activated, from classroom to public events, began again the rebound of COVID-19 cases in Venezuela, despite the mass vaccination of the population.

In Venezuela, the immunization process is being carried out with 3 different vaccines, the Russian vaccine called Sputnik V, the Chinese vaccine called Sinopharm (Vero-Cell), and the Cuban vaccine called Soberana, with these 3 vaccines the process began, being a 2-dose vaccination process, which have had a good effect on the population, besides being great news for the country.

In spite of this, it can be said that, due to the lack of awareness of the people, the cases of COVID have increased in the country, the main reason is that people, because they are vaccinated, believe that they should not use the mask, when the reality is that we are still infected, but with milder symptoms, and in few cases they are still serious symptoms, at the level of respiratory problems.

Recently, a new variant of the virus called Omicron emerged, there are vaccines that do not work against this new variant, apparently it has been proven that the vaccines used in Venezuela, have an effect on this new variant, making the virus milder in infected people, being this the scenario the World Health Organization, and the laboratories, recommended a third dose of the vaccine.

In this situation, the President of Venezuela declared that, starting today, Monday January 3, 2021, the vaccination process will begin for the third dose of the 3 vaccines applied in Venezuela, thus achieving what was decreed by the World Health Organization.

Globally great efforts are being made to try to combat this virus that threatens humanity, the advances that have been achieved are really very good, but considering what happened in previous pandemics, there is still little time to eradicate the virus, according to many experts it will remain forever, but they will manage to attenuate it to a point where it becomes a common flu, where it does not deserve great treatment, meanwhile we have to continue taking care of ourselves and keep our family safe, thank you for reading my article.
