Procedure:
Substances are things we take into our body. They include food, water, drinks, drugs, air, smoke etc.

INTRODUCTION

Step 1 Meaning of Rules and Regulations

Rules and regulations helps us to know what we should or should not take into our body so that we can stay alive and healthy.

Step 2 Things we must not do

1. Do not smoke.
2. Do not eat unripe fruits.
3. Do not take alcohol.
4. Do not eat uncovered food.
5. Do not take medications without the doctor's advice.
6. Do not drink dirty water.

Step 3 Things we must do when taking substances into the body

1. We must obey our parents and not eat it take medicines that the doctors have not approved.
2. We must cover our food when we are not ready to eat.
3. We must wash our fruits and vegetables before we eat them.
4. We must drink only clean water.
5. We must cook our food properly before consumption.
6. We must not smoke of take overdose medication.

Evaluation:

1. What are substances with examples?
2. Mention any five (5) things that you should not do.
3. What are things we must do when taking substance into our body?

Summary/Conclusion
The teacher takes time to welcome possible questions from the learners about the topic taught. He attends to such questions before drawing up a chalkboard summary.
