Everyone feels sad at times. Sad feelings can be mild or strong or in between. How sad you feel can depend on the situation that's causing the sadness and how you're coping with it.

Feeling sad is not nice but it is also an emosion that can come and go. Most of the times once we feel better the sadness will be replaced with a happy emotion. It is okay to feel sad, but we cannot keep on feeling sad every single day. We need to learn to deal with our emotions and find ways to make ourselves feel better again.

If you cannot get yourself to feel better, you will have to speak to an adult that can help you.

Try and stay positive.  Things do not always work out the way we wants, we do not always get everything we want or sometimes we loose, and all these things make us feel sad.  Try to accept it and next time you will either know what to expect or try harder.

Even the most capable kids need support. The people in your life who believe in you and care (like parents, friends, and teachers) can comfort you when you feel sad. Sometimes, just listening and understanding what you're going through is enough.
