Why do we get anxious?
People can get anxious for a variety of reasons. These can include fear of the unknown, anticipation of a stressful event, or an experience that left a lasting negative impression. Anxiety can also be caused by physical symptoms, such as fatigue, low blood sugar, or too much caffeine.
A little anxiety is fine, but long-term anxiety may cause more serious health problems, such as high blood pressure (hypertension). You may also be more likely to develop infections. If you're feeling anxious all the time, or it's affecting your day-to-day life, you may have an anxiety disorder or a panic disorder.
Stressful life events, such as a death in the family, job loss, or financial issues can also be a cause of anxiety. In some cases, anxiety can be linked to an underlying mental health condition, such as depression, bipolar disorder, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Tips to handle anxiety
Identify the source of your anxiety. Understanding the cause of your anxiety can help you figure out ways to manage it.
Exercise regularly. Exercise can help reduce stress and improve your overall physical and mental health.
Practice relaxation techniques. Relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness can help reduce anxiety.
Get enough sleep. Not getting enough sleep can increase anxiety levels. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
Connect with others. Connecting with friends, family, and/or a mental health professional can help reduce feelings of isolation and provide support.
Challenge negative thoughts. Negative thinking can often lead to increased anxiety. Challenge these negative thoughts by questioning their validity and replacing them with positive affirmations.
Try to stay in the present. Focusing on the present moment and being mindful can help reduce anxiety.
Why is it good to have a handle on your anxiety?
Having a handle on your anxiety is beneficial because it helps you to manage your anxiety in a healthy way. It allows you to recognize when you are feeling anxious and to take steps to reduce or prevent it. This can help you lead a more productive and stress-free life. Additionally, it can help you to identify potential triggers for your anxiety, which can help you to better understand your condition and develop coping strategies

Currently this is the main thing why I am worried. Serious financial issues. And a housing issue. I am worried about the future. Both about the near future and about the distant future too. Getting enough sleep, and staying in the present is often difficult in this case, but I try my best. I try everything I can to improve my situation.
