Augusto Góngora is a journalist working for a local newspaper in Chile. He is a prominent writer who wrote about the disappearances in the Latin American country during the 80's. He also conducted numerous interviews with poets and intellectuals about their work and the political situation of the time.
The years and the deterioration of his health lead him to retire. His wife, a very important dancer, will accompany him in his journey to capture his memory, slowly devoured by Alzheimer's disease.
The documentary film presents us with a retrospective of Agusto's life, in a sort of collage, the director shows us a narrative that goes back to crucial moments in the life of the main character. In this sense, Alzheimer's is the argument to unravel the deep wounds of a country that seems to forget its memory.
The love of his wife will make him carry the oblivion in a kinder way.

Augusto Góngora es un periodista que trabaja para un diario local de Chile. Es un escritor destacado que se ocupó de escribir sobre la desapariciones en el país latinoamericano durante los años 80, asimismo, realizó numerosas entrevistas a poetas e intelectuales sobre su obra y la situación política del momento.
Los años y el deterioro de su salud le llevan a retirarse. Su esposa una bailarina muy importante lo acompañará en su tránsito por atrapar la memoria, deborada lentamente por el alzheimer.
La película de género documental nos plantea una retrospectiva de la vida de Augusto, en una suerte de collage el director nos va mostrando una narrativa que va retrocediendo a momentos cruciales de la vida del personaje principal. En este sentido, el alzheimer es el argumento para desentrañar las heridas profundas de un país que parece olvidar su memoria.
El amor de la esposa le harán llevar el olvido de una forma más amable.
