A few days ago someone that i follow on twitter, wrote about 'Gravity Falls'. Never heard of it. He said how good is it and that he saw 4 episodes in a row.
So what is 'Gravity Falls'? It is an American mystery comedy animated television series between 2012 and 2016. It is not something new but i do not know how famous it is.
The series follows the adventures of Dipper and his twin sister Mabel who are sent to spend the summer with their great-uncle Stan in Gravity Falls. They think it will be very boring but they find a journal in the woods and they learn about secrets and strange inhabitants.
Smart, imaginative, funny, sensitive. I haven't even finished season 1 yet but each new episode is better than the last so far. The story is rich and the characters are very lovable. Of course the characters are so unique that you can't help but to love them. The show has humor and the feeling of adventure and the unknown is in the correct ratio.
The animation is very good and the various crazy creatures are well made. The story is for kids but also for big kids. In each episode you do not know what to expect. I will tell only this: in the first episode the twins meet a zombie that is made of gnomes... What?
I can't believe how i missed this show. You can find it on Disney+.
